Andit I mostly gave Synthroid in the hospitals where I worked and it was always given before breakfast.

Andit, I really just signed in to ask, what kind of Thyroid meds is she on? Star was pretty right on with what she said, but if you can even tell me a kinda phonetic (if you can't get the spelling) sound of the meds I can tell you more. Plus I bet she's on more than just those meds, and it is important to know what else she is on.

She's on Synthyroid, the lowest dose at this point (will be adjusted when she goes to see the specialist). She's going to the surgeon tomorrow to get the steri strips removed & to have the incision checked. The only other drug she's taking is the Diana pill (low dose contraceptive) for polycystic ovaries (been on them since she was a teen, she's 40 now). She's very careful about taking her pills (she's been setting her alarm for 6am to get used to taking the pill 1 hour before when her breakfast will be when she goes back to work). Even before when she was on the PTU (3 pills a day), she was careful to leave at least 3 hours between pills.

Right now she's feeling very tired in the morning, but gets her second wind about 2pm - she's thinking the pills are kicking in at that time.

Not really back yet... pretty sick, and having some trouble. I am going in for a "Cervial Cerclage" in a few days, that is where they sew your cervix shut. Apparently I am already 3cm+ dilated, and I'm only 22 weeks or so. I told them I wanted the cerclage and they agreed, so in I go. *sigh*

Oh dear, you poor thing. Do you have anyone helping with the girls? These are the times I wish all of us SCers were in the same city, would make life so much easier. If there's anything I can do, let me know.

Andit I'm not familiar with the Diana pill looked it up but didn't find the kinds of info I wanted to on it. Estrogen drugs can affect the absorption of the synthroid can't remember if the estrogen increases or decreases absorption offhand. She might want to take them 4 hours apart though.

how old are the kids?? its grease LOL some dirty stuff in it but not much we have a clean version of greased lightening
you can get tickets online or at some of the stores around here

I asked the kids if they wanted to go see Grease and the first thing out of DS's mouth was "No, we'll see Daddy there".. LOL I told him no way his father would be there and he says " Yes he bought the tickets this week". They are showing Grease here in Ottawa too. Anyway the kids don't want to go, so if I go it will be on the first weekend. NOw I have to find someone to come with me.

I was having mega problems with the internet last night, I could only get on for 10 mins at a time if that and then it would crap out. After re-booting a holf a dozen times and re-doing the internet connect on the puter I finnally got on to work on my Farm. By that time I it was geting late so I went to bed. Got up early (you know you have an addiction when) to work on the farm. I got most of the fields plowed and planted. Just a few more when I get home.

The DD's school circus starts today for 2 days. She had to get up early to wash her hair so I could try to french braid it (something I still don't do well). I sprayed a ton on hair spay in it so I would stay in place. She is playing a monkey and juggling the scarves. She is so excited, this is the first year she made it into the circus. They put on 2 shows today - one sor their school at 11am and one for the parents tonight at 7:30. Tomorrow the have 2 showing for two schools that get bussed out to see it. Means I get more pratice trying to do her hair. LOL I'll tried to get some pictures to post. They have working on this since Christmas. This is the 3rd year the school has put o a circus instead of a play.

i g2g put shorts on, it's going up to 27 degrees here today. then tonight rain, and 11-15 degrees rest of week with rain. sure tease us like that.
