i am so excited..we just got approved for a nice loan, so we will be busy this summer putting up brand new fence and siding the house, and taking our first vacation ever!!!!!
Just dh and me..we never had honeymoon so I am happy!!

i declined package from ups because of s & h but today got a letter in the mail asking for payment. called them and when they tracked it they took it out of their system, couldn't they have done this before they sent bill to me? lol go figure.

Good for you haunish - fiance and I are waiting for windows to come in (this week or next) and then replacing windows and new siding - looking forward to having it done - hate the mess while doing it.

My dad's ashes just arrived at work for me to take to the chaplain/padre's office for committal of ashes at sea. Just getting myself together while I wait for call from his secretary (wasn't in office when I called). It's going to be hard to leave him there and walk away but this is what he wanted and as I work on the navy base and his common-law and my brother live in Toronto, I am the one to ensure his final wish is fulfilled. Hardest thing I have had to do in my life.

I do not even know where to post this. I am truly on Cloud Nine right now.
Just got a phone call from the local mall's management. I had entered in the Food Basics draw for the Grocery Bailout Contest and I won !!! I will have 60 seconds and a shopping cart on Friday morning and I can fill it up with all the free stuff I want. My limit if $250 and you can only pick one of each item, but she said I can pick up 5 packs of diapers, just different sizes and brands. On top of that the media will be there and I get an additional $100 gift card
I just cannot believe I won this. Free diapers and wipes, here I come !!!

((((((((((((((Leftie))))))))))) wish I could think of something truly amazing to say that would help but there is nothing to say. You will get through this and you will have given your father his final wish! My wish is that I was close enough to wait with you and help you through this but you know we are all with you in spirit.


Haunish so happy for you both! That and jealous I so want a fence too around the backyard with a doggie door so Miss Mollie could go outside whenever she wanted without me having to watch over her. She loves laying in the sun and keeping an eye on her neighborhood but there are too many very large dogs that are not kept in their own yards around here. She is so yappy barking at them that I'm afraid one of them will hurt her. Would be nice also to be able to go overnight once in a while without having to take her every time. One of these days dh promises me I'll have my fence and a covered back porch lol yeah right. Promised me a dining table with our income tax just didn't tell me it had to be free! Found a table wasn't really what I wanted but it was only $220 on sale, it was still too much for that a$$. He promised tho but next time I will get him to promise a certain amount of the money should of known to do that this time but didn't dream he would want a table and chairs under $200 I've looked at used ones but so far all of the ones under that price are in bad shape and I'd rather not have a table then one that is a piece is shyat! He's such a ......... ok better leave that blank lol.

Went to the dr today he was convinced i'm still falling asleep everytime I sit down because I dont' sleep well (i've never slept well lol ever) but they called on my labs from this morning and my potassium is down again. Did give me some sleeping pills I'll try them but most of them I end up agitated or sleep walking (lol wake up some of the weirdest places doing the strangest things like pretend cooking). He also thinks my lupus has flared up the labs will tell him but my hands are also very red across the knuckles and fingers very swollen which happens when my lupus kicks my butt. Far as the falling goes he feels part of that is not getting enough rest but mostly is just part of my disease.

Was going to go stay with the kids for a couple weeks but want to wait until i'm not so tired plus the dr wants to se e me in 2 weeks again so will wait. They were still going to come up and visit but they have raised the gas prices so much for the holiday weekend coming up that they decided to wait until the price goes down again.
