He's been that good for you lately huh?!?
Well, I have been on and off lately, but not really talkative. So, I thought I'd check in. Things are just fine, I'm just a little frustrated right now with life in general. My EI ran out last week and now we're trying to cut down on a ton of costs.
I'm getting rid of my car and getting DH's grandfather's (the one that passed last month) van, I'm going to a Pay-As-You-Go plan on my cell phone (no big deal, just a pain in the butt), and we may be selling our house to move into a bigger (but cheaper) place to cut down on the mortgage. This is all because I don't have any source of income right now.
I'll get through my rut, but man, what a hassle. This is something we should have done long ago, but hindsight is 20:20.
(Thanks, my friend, for all of your help - you know who you are - I've registered with a few of the agencies you sent me links and numbers for - if I get something out of that, I will let you know ASAP )
Hope everyone is keeping well. Amy, I hope your headaches ease soon. I had that with this pregnancy this time as well, and the achy joints like lolcat pointed out. I thought that was just cause I was sick all the time, but I guess not.
How are you feeling lolcat?!? Hope you're feeling alright too
I've been feeling great. It's funny, but I'm in better shape with this pregnancy than I was with DS because I'm more active. When I was pregnant with DS, I was in front of a computer for 8 hours a day, and now I'm up and chasing a 14 month old all the time, cleaning a whole lot more, and actually doing something with my gardens this year instead of letting the weeds take over
Thanks for the enormous number of words.

LOL NS thowing the kids at the bear. What you trying to do scare the poor bear!!
They had a bear out near the kids school last year. All they did was tell there was a bear in the area and to be careful. I guess they know the kids will scare the bear more!!

My husband worked on a deal pursuit in Seattle for Weyerhaueser the company who makes paper products. Their HQ is in a forest area ironically and part of the orientation of the facilities was bear protection as they have alot of bears in the area. One day hubby got an email indicating there has been signs of a black bear in the parking lot so go out with a partner. My husband kept saying I need to find a big guy to out with so I can outrun him Mean I know but hey...survival of the fittest I guess

Hi guys
Went in for an appointment today for them to check on my cerclage, because I've been having so much pain. They told me they aren't sure my due date is right, and that they think I might be further along than I suspect. Well DUH.. I've been saying that for 2 months now. It really is sad how no one listens to patients anymore.
Thanks for asking about me, bg I've been doing ok, I'm way way bigger this time than any of my other pregnancies. Feel like the broad side of a barn, and I'm trying to get lots of exercise because it is the only thing that keeps me awake.
My good friend who lives in Seattle who was due on the 10th of this month went in for a routine check-up... they couldn't find fetal heart sounds, so they whisked her in to an emergency C-section (her first baby!) without her husband there! He works an hour away from the hospital. Baby turned out to be fine, but they cut her face giving the c-section. This is more common than you'd think, but still scary. My friend is so traumatized over the whole thing. So upsetting. It was a baby girl, they named her Aveline. I think that is very pretty
So anyway, enough stories from me. Dh is looking at houses online trying to convince me to move. LOL Gotta get my ungainly butt out of the chair again to see what he wants to show me ;b

well, get this. the crazy vice principal, calls my dh and asks if i'm on the way. dh is like, nooo i'm on my way (with the car). i said, wot ? even she thinks i'm nuts enuf to walk up the path with a bear?
bears are bad in the city because they see you as a source of food (because of all the garbage cans around, and no natural food) , unlike in the country.
you guys are cracking me up with yer comments tho. they caught the bear, ds said it was a mother and her cub. (ugh that's the worst kind of bear too)
anyway, me and BG won those flowers (600 randome newletter signupers), and i had to dig up the front lawn to plant them. now i hope they take, cause they'll be downright pretty
but i tired out my dh. and then we took son to cadets, and GOT THE WORST SLAP IN THE FACE--they wanted to know if he'd be returning, dh told them no he's old enuf to move up to reg cadets, and he'll be going to army (not sea). right now he's in navy leagues. i guess they din't like that. he was the ONLY one on the rifle team not allowed to practice, and they told him that he'd get his chance..NEXT YEAR
he was supposed to fire at the annual ceremony on sunday
GUESS WHOSE NOT ATTENDING.
ya.. but dh is going to return his uniform and give them a damn good pc of his mind.
this group as done NOTHING with the kids this year, even tho dh/ds went 5 days and raised money for the tattoo, sold choclate bars and icecream. NOTHING, no trips, all they got was to go to bowling 1x, stay on the base and watch a movie, (halloween) and they had pizza the other day, ONLY ALLOWED ONE SLICE
and they wonder why half the group left and went to halifax
GRRRRRRRR
am making damn sure i put him in a group that DOES STUFF.

When I first moved to the condo (east side of downtown Toronto), I saw all sorts of wildlife. We had deer, coyote, raccoons, foxes, gophers, hawks, an eagle, & of course lots & lots of squirrels. Years ago, I remember seeing a fox at Harbourfront (for those who don't know Toronto, that's right downtown)! Apparently, we also have Norwegian burrowing rats in the neighbourhood, but no one is too happy about their moving in. Kinda hoping the stray cats would eliminate those foreigners.

We see a whole lot of everything where we are.
In the winter it's really neat because the fox and deer will wander out onto the frozen lake.
We have a skunk that used to make it's home under our back shed (got rid of that), we have a nest of squirrels in the garage (trying to get DH to get rid of that), and disgusting little mice running around everywhere out in the garage (trying to get rid of those myself).
Anyways, glad to hear you're doing alright lolcat. I, too, am as big as a house already, but I have 10lb babies, too.
