Hi all... thanks for the new words
awww Kekes, I feel so sorry for you ((((hugs))))
I had three fillings done on my bottom teeth last week and now I can't bite down on one of my teeth at all. (just hurts something awful) It never bothered me before I got it fixed and now it is killing me when I eat or drink anything cold. Is this normal after a filling?
Happy Monday Everyone!

Oh Kekes! Didn't they give you anything besides tylenol 3 for the pain? They usually would give you something more powerful than that. Though you need to be careful with Cellulitis, and pay attention to your level of pain, as it can quickly turn into something different called "Necrotising fasciitis" and the main symptom of that is a rapidly increasing level of pain.
If the swelling has gone down at all that is a good sign. What kind of antibiotic did they put you on? Are you diabetic at all? Severe varicose veins?
If you have anything you want to know about cellulitis that the doctor didn't cover just PM me.. I can probably explain it in layman's terms too if what the doctor told you wasn't very clear. (Or not enough info) Did they really say to wait till the end of THIS week to check in if it isn't better? What day were you diagnosed on?
Pain after getting a tooth filled is quite common, especially if you get one of those "Tooth colored" fillings... which is what most dentists use now. If your pain seems to be getting worse, I'd suggest going back to the dentist and asking for an x-ray. Sometimes if they don't layer the filling material right you can get a bubble in there which can cause pain, or if the root of the tooth starts dying under the filling it can cause pretty extreme pain.
If the main source of the pain tends to be cold/hot sensitivity, I'd just suggest getting some Sensodyne toothpaste, and using that 2-3 times a day till the sensitivity goes down a bit. That stuff has helped me immensely during all my dental work. Hope it feels better soon.. Three teeth filled in one day is pretty harsh!

I need some info from my knowledgeable sc friends.... has anyone here had laser eye surgery? if so, who did it? how much does it cost? was it worth it? did you get the full package or just the eye surgery?
We're looking into it but aren't too sure if it's worth the cost so I'd really like to get some input from those who've done it!
please pm me!

ok just got this joke so thought would share: ( I would like to know the same as Jodew by the way...lol.my dh and I have wondered about getting that done for awhile)
ok heres the joke:
So after landing my new job as a Wal-Mart greeter,
a good find for many retirees,
I lasted less than a day......
About two hours into my first day on the job a very loud,
unattractive, mean-acting woman walked into the store with her two kids,
Yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance.
As I had been instructed, I said pleasantly, 'Good morning and welcome to Wal-Mart.
Nice children you have there. Are they twins?'
The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say,
'Hell no, they ain't twins. The oldest one's 9, and the other one's 7.
Why the hell would you think they're twins? Are you blind, or just stupid?'
So I replied,
'I'm neither blind nor stupid, Ma'am,
I just couldn't believe someone slept with you twice.
Have a good day and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart.'
My supervisor said I probably wasn't cut out for this line of work.

ohh, I think you should have that looked at. My dentist has made a small fortune from my teeth and I haven't had that experience. Don't mess around now, you give the dentist a call. Never know what it might be. not trying to scare you though. better safe and secure in knowledge.
