To all the new contact lens wearers...
Don't feel bad if you still have troubles putting them in, even after a while.
I've been wearing contacts since I was 14 (that's 20 years now! OMG)
My contacts got wrecked and we didn't really have the money to get new ones for a long time. I just saved up enough to order from clearlycontacts.ca with some paypal money I got... well I just put contacts in today after 3 months of none, and I had the WORST TIME. Totally not like riding a bike, my eyes hated it. Though it is a pleasure to have them back now, I hate wearing glasses because I have a very harsh prescription and they are so heavy.

Thanks for all the new words--still HOT here, near 100 with heat index a few degrees higher.
Kekes hope you are better soon--that sounds really painful & dangerous.

zoodle, i'm planning on going back to contacts. i might have to pm you for a reminder how to do it. it's been *ack* more than 10 years..maybe 15...
anyway, i just had to share this with all my best buds. i did these up for ryan's 6 teachers. (2 homerooom teachers, one assitant, 3 epas that my son has to help support him). it gets expensive so i wanted something unusual and cheap!
i found the "frog" in either the ornament section or the panting section of the dollar store. the large bottles they carry just about fit. bought some rafia and laminate, and spices. made up cajun spice mix (sd should appreciate that..louisiana, frog, cajun, GET IT?). anyway, that was a fluke, i thought the frogs were cute at the time, din't realize it was a cajun thing til later..
anyway, i digress.. the recipe came from cooks.com. ryan is writing nice personal thank yous to all the teachers to put with, and i got 10 giftbags from zellers for a couple of bucks.
is that cute or what? and we put a recipe idea in with the thankyou cards.
i so rock

I love my contacts LOL took awhile to get used to putting them in and taking them out but now I can do it fairly quickly...the only thing I notice is that sometimes my right eye at night if I cover my left eye things like LCD clocks and stuff will have a halo around them idk if thats normal but they told me it was because my eyes were tired...but it only happened with my left eye a couple times my right eye does it more often

If your willing to go back to school and learn go for it. I know so many who are in my courses who dont want to be there. Theres many ways to get into school and get thru it. I probably dont have as many bills as you but I make it thu with no debt still (surprisely LOL). You just have to cut back on allot. What course were you looking into and what school? OSAP will lend money out but the only problem with them is 6 months after you graduate you have to strt paying it off but if you get I think dont quote me 70% of a GPA higher than 3.74 then they take so much off. Ive gotten 2 thousand off each year from my loan (so I pocketed 2 thousand since I havent used my OSAP). The bank will also give you loans but I heard the interest is horrible. Also, once you apply go to the financial aid office in the school and ask for some assistance the school it self will lend you money but you have to get certain grades. Textbooks will get you in the end join swagbucks or a site like that and earn amazon GC (if your going to college emost textbooks are on amazon or chapters for about 20 -30$ cheaper than what they sell in the school bookstores). You have to cut back on everything - I havent bought new clothes for over 4 years (thank god for xmas and bdays LOL). Also, you have to cut back on food and such (coming from the one that can barely eat food). I use coupons allot of time and stock up when a sale comes on to save money. Let me know if you need any help. Some how I survive thru college paying all my bills and only working at Tim Hortons 2 days a week. Please! Vote for me!
