Thanks fo all the new words.
Meh still kicking. I was doing great even started adding foods to my diet like milk (very little but still some) since my spec said I need to put a little in my diet since most of my symptoms have decrease and almost disappeared.(for the time beig usually does this fo a month or so then everything comes back) Well that didnt last long maybe two weeks - started geting inflammation back about a week ago - called the spec yet hes telling me to continuing adding tuff my body just has to figure out if its good or bad. Since there hasnt been any bleeding just continue eatting it. He told me to eat some whole wheat or bran stuff (that went over the line i will never attempt to eat whole wheat or bran again - the pain that it causes Id rather be constipated for 3 weeks than eat it and go thru that pain). . Started with my stomach flipping upside down (i swear its the iron pills I switch back to the sulphate ones but after taking them for awhile my body hates me LOL) - so I stopped taking them the other day and surprise Im feeling better I have this thing called my apetitude back. Ive been eatting like no tomorrow. I ate fish , ice cream and peanut butter all in a day and felt alright. The only thing Ive had to do is increase my metamucil to 2 cups instead of 1 cup a day (but usually have to do this every so many weeks anyways - my poop cycle is all over the place - just as long as I go thats the main part). Ive been getting really dizzy i went to another doc (not my family doc) and he kept telling me its my blood sugar because I dont eat stuff that will bring my sugars up. But when I eat something that would bring it up I get even more dizzy as faint sort of speak. My coworker (whos a diabetic always check my levels - usually between 4 -6 which is nomal). Ive even got blood work done and nothing showed up so clearly somethings going on. So figured in a week or so Im going back and not leaving till he does something. Its geting to the point where I have to pull over when Im driving because I get so dizzy - gets rather annoying. My hairs starting to fall out even more than it was so its clearly something (yet it just the low iron).
If anyone has any suggestions. I cant just walk into the docs and say this is going on and for them to figure it out (its too much work for them). I have to tell them what to test for or they wont.Last edited by Ricki911; Tue, Jul 7th, 2009 at 01:31 PM.

Sorry to hear all you're going through.
The hair falling out sounds like it could be diabetes or thyroid. I'm assuming they've run an A1C blood test on you? It's the one that gives the levels over a longer period of time. Have you had a GTT (glucose tolerance test)? It's kinda icky, but tells a lot about how well your pancreas is working. Also, have you had a FULL thyroid panel run (not just the general test)?
One other thing, are you drinking enough water? I never used to be one to believe in this, but it does make a difference to drink lots of water (helps with constipation too). I'm thinking the dizzy feeling could be related to dehydration.
Have you tried taking probiotics? Not to compare you to my dog (take it as a compliment, she's more talented than me), but I give her a pill whenever she has tummy problems. Got the idea from a friend whose dog has IBD. It's about $6 for a big bottle at WalMart.
Sorry, that's all I can think of. Maybe Star or LolCat can shed some light & give you some ideas. I can sympathize. I'm dealing with this weird skin issue that 4 specialists have said is eczema, but doesn't respond to treatment. Of course, it doesn't help that I keep seeing these specialists in the summer & I only get flare ups in winter.Hoping when I see specialist #5 in late fall, he'll figure it out.
Here's hoping they get you on the right track soon. i know how frustrating it can he.

Ricki, I had some dizziness recently really bad..I am still waiting for test results...but my doc checked thyroid.I also lose so much hair its sad. I have had diabetes checked but not that, as they assumed I needed sugar.
But my other issues are passing out for 3-4 hours I would just sit down and wake after so many hours..creepy cause I have to get kids off bus so was close sometimes.
But thats what my doc is checking and hormone levels..not sure why those but hopefully find out this week
Hopefully you can get everything figured out..

Wiki is updated
Amy ... so glad to hear he is feeling better. Those are definately the typical prescriptions for it.. I can picture what you are talking about with having to pin him down. Doesn't that make you feel horrible? My Monet is like that too. She won't even let me change her diaper unless I lure her in by saying I am going to put pretty clips in her hair or something lol.
Monet is actually fine now... no one is sure what happened, she just cleared up all on her own one day. I took her in one final time and asked for a lung x-ray and everything looked good.
I however spent the whole day at the Maternity unit yesterday. I felt like crap and was having crazy contractions, so they gave me a shot of Magnesium sulfate, which made the contractions stop but left me puking all night. WOOT!
Thanks for askingOther than that, we are all pretty good!

Racefan I think they will be repeating it for a long time and I would not be surprised if some company turns the entire thing into a DVD for sale. People are profiting off this death and it is sad. I only saw the last 10 mins which was the family speaking and the last voice was of his daughter Paris which made me cry. I didn't want to watch it, yet channeled to it the last moment to probably watch the most emotional scene of the day...sigh...my pregnancy hormones loved it I am sure
