Pink eye fingers crossed it out of the house
Anyone know if it is okay to drink Ensure meal replacements while pregnant? I have no desire or energy with this baby to eat and although Im big to begin with it concerns me Im not getting enough in for the baby. So with my vitamins I have been drinking them as there is no warning not to drink em while pregnant

Ok Amy, BG said she can't take any clothes, so if you end up having a girl, you are in LUCK! We have SO much girl stuff, I could easily give half of it to you and our daughters wouldn't even be able to wear all of what was left before they outgrew it It is all really awesome too, since the four families that give us their "hand me downs" shop at better stores than I ever could! LOL
Kaela! I cannot believe they haven't made your problem right yet! Have you ever tried looking on their site for a contact phone number? When I have more time this evening I am going to look into it!
Andi -- I'm so sorry you are still feeling so crappy! Especially when you have somewhere fun to go. I've had a cough for a week now too, and it just gets so tiring when you can't stop coughing.
No answers on the phone calls yet, but a few people who are going to get back to me when they ask some other people some questions At least someone is trying to help me who doesn't already love me, like you do
Hugs to you for being such a help, I don't know what I'd do without all my SC family some days.
AWWWW. Poor little guy! Monet took her own diaper off one day in the playroom, and when she pee'd she went bananas too. I felt so bad for her, sobbing and sobbing and saying she was "So sorry Mama" over and over again, even though I didn't say anything angry to her.
At least he is old enough to understand when things "need" to be done, that is such a relief, even if it only helps half the time.
Amy -- You can drink them while you are pregnant, but I would limit it to one per day. Since you are already taking a prenatal vitamin, you don't want to overload yourself on certain vitamins, especially since Ensure is pretty high in Iron, and so are prenatal vitamins.
Ensure has a product called "Ensure healthy moms" I don't know if they sell it around here, but we used to recommend it to the nursing moms at the clinic I worked at. It is a bit lower in certain vitamins than the regular Ensure drinks, and works well for nursing and pregnant moms.
But otherwise, you should be ok to drink one Ensure a day, or even those similar drinks called "Boost"... I prefer the taste of those to the ensure, and I drank one a day when I was having the morning sickness really badly, because I kept NOTHING down.
PM me your phone number so I can call you sometime! You called me once but I'm sure I don't have your number at all.

Oh Rose, you are so much like I was at your age
That was so much my favorite that I almost got a Phantom of the Opera tattoo. When I moved to NYC to go to school, I saw it 14 times, both on the regular stage and the travelling company.. I couldn't even convince my friends to go with me after a while
Have you ever seen it on stage at all? After I am all done having babies you and I are going to find a stage version of it and go together.
I should dig out my old Phantom memorabilia and send it to you. I think I still have a snowglobe, all my playbills, autographs, etc. I even saw Sarah Brightman as Christine, just one time, but she was amazing (I still love her too Never saw Michael Crawford as the Phantom, but I still love him too!

I fell in love with the Phantom when I first read the book (before the musical). Saw the musical 3x here in Toronto, tried to convince my friends to see the Phantom Spectacular when we went to Vegas last fall, but we ran out of time. & yes, I love the movie version too.
Did you know Andrew Lloyd Webber is working on Phantom in Manhattan (I think that's the name) - sort of a sequel based on a book with that title (Fred Forsythe I think). I'm not sure if they worked out casting yet, but it's due on Broadway. Not sure what the status is, too tired now to go hunting.
I didn't see Michael Crawford as Phantom, but I did get to see him perform. He had a lovely show where he performed songs from various musicals. I grew up watching him in a really silly British sitcom called Some Mothers Do Have Em, & it was sooo hard to match that beautiful voice to the bumbling comedian.
I saw Colm Wilkinson play Phantom. I also got to see Paul Stanley as Phantom. That was fun - all these KISS fans making comments about how the mask was placed, how it almost matched his former make up. I was too young to be a fan of KISS, just remember thinking they were the wannabe Harlequins (yes, I was a weird child).
Haven't heard anything about Phantom coming to town (& I have a few sources who know these things), but will keep you in the loop if I hear anything.
Grrr, now I'm gonna have to go listen to Think of Me before I can go to bed!
