Hi all.
Ran out of rep, so don't know when it'll be fixed. Anyone I missed - Have a great weekend!
I'm going to see Bryan Adams tonight - can't wait. I LOVE him in concert, so much fun.
The critters are sharing a tiny patch of sunlight - they can't seem to get enough sun, even when they're panting.
If I still have energy tonight, I'll post a recap of the concert.

Hi All!! Thanks for the words and all the rep
So, my computer quit on me The screen had been acting up lately, and then all of a sudden yesterday, I lost it altogether. It went black on me. I was so mad. I was in the middle of a blog post, and my computer quit So, I'm using my hubby's computer, but I couldn't remember my login for SC. ARGH!! So, I've been having panic attacks for almost 24 hours.
THANK GOODNESS FOR BOO!!!
He reset my password (for the second time), so now I'm back. PHEW!! No more panic attacks.
I hope everyone is having a great day, even though (in Ontario, anyways), it's absolutely sweltering. I can't go outside right now ... I'm having enough issues breathing, let alone adding the heat and humidity.Last edited by babygonnermann; Fri, Aug 14th, 2009 at 03:16 PM.

points and prizes has not acknowledged my email. i really don't think its fair that they should be able to treat people anyway they want. in the past they have voting contests they don't police some of the remarks or take responsibility for the content. rude remarks were posted and actual complaints had to be made to have them removed.they have gipped many of us on the voting in them point wise:they did give us a big bulk point reward but not what a lot of us were were supposed to get.for 5 words an hour for months on end i at least expected at least civility. i didn't even get that.
i hope that everyone has a better experience than i did.

The concert was amazing!!! I do have to laugh when folks call Bryan Adams a rocker - if they heard him tonight, it was all mush. The concert was in a venue built for an orchestra - the accoustics were to die for.
Of course, I've had a crush on Bryan Adams for a looong time (not a jump yer bones kinda crush, more of a schoolgirl in awe of her teacher kinda crush ). I actually had a 30 second conversation with him once & another time spent 30 seconds with him in an elevator.
The afternoon/evening was a bit weird thought. It started when I was looking through a suitcase of old clothes my parents dropped off. I found a skirt I hadn't worn in, um, more years than I care to remember. I tried it on (& by some miracle it actually fit ). Only, the last time I wore it, I kept thinking it was my "conservative" skirt, since it wasn't as short as I usually wore out clubbing. Today, I kept fussing with it, thinking it was way too short! Didn't stop me from wearing it tho.
Went to have dinner with my friend before the concert & the restaurant was featuring a new beer from one of the microbreweries. I ended up having 2 glasses of it (free!) cause my friend wanted to drink wine. Of course, I needed it after my friend asked me why I was dressed so 80's.
Then, the funniest thing happened at the concert. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Someone flicked on a lighter and started swaying to the music (any other concert goers my age remember doing that?) & security was on him in a flash. Apparently the newer smoke detectors don't like lighters.
All in all, it was a fun evening. The critters are already in bed, the cat chewed me out for not having dinner at the appointed time (he forgot that he had dinner early apparently) & insisted on a midnight snack.
I'm off to bed soon, but still wired from the concert.
Night all.
