Does anyone know around how many points per month they are averaging?

I have 101,235 and I just joined October 14. So for me it's just over 50,000 per month.

I've read some people just claim the high value words, I claim all of them, even if it's just 25 points

me too, as every little counts!! So hopefully by next September I should have 800,000 + points, as I know the last time I ordered something it took ages to get here....

Last year about this time, there was some sort of problem & they reduced the value of some of the words to 5 pts each, as well as the points for contests (used to get 50 pts for voting, went down to 5 & restricted to 125pts/day). The contests were an absolute nightmare, with some lonely bitter individuals without lives insisting on hurling insults at pictures of people`s children. It got quite nasty, but it brought quite a few SCers together, as we took the high road & posted happy positive comments to counter their idiotic remarks.

I`ve carried over points from 2008 to 2009, so the points accumulated don`t expire, although the words do.

In terms of the prizes, I think it`s promos that they get that are the prizes. Sort of like when a local radio station says caller 23 wins the new dvd release of `Andit typing`.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It`s cold here, but very very sunny. The dog & I went up to the rooftop patio this morning to watch the sunrise, wow, was it ever cold.

When people malign and insult others like that, it's really indicative of how they feel about themselves and how things are going in their lives.

Have to find time to put them all in.

I guess this month I will have a lot of free time. I got my schedule and have a total of 7 shifts 1 more than I usually have - nice eh). I work tonight and have 3 nights off from the one job and work Mnday to Friday with the other one.

Im starting to join a lot of PTC and money earning sites. Since Im sitting here doing nothing majority of the time mights as well earn some money.

It actually took a while to get PnP to investigate. I had submitted a photo of my "kids" for a Halloween kids costume contest (just to get the 1000pts for entering & to make people smile) & got dragged over hot coals for daring to enter animals in a kids contest. One of the pix was of a cute baby wearing a mask & the comments went on about how there was no real costume involved. It just went from bad to worse. It was truly pathetic. But...a few nice folks joined SC as a result of a couple of folks on here reaching out to them (the recipients of some of the insults) & telling them there were a bunch of us voting for their photos. I'm a silver lining on the dark cloud kinda gal.

On my account I have about 400K & on my parents' account, there is 190K.

I think I've mentioned before that I've cashed out the points for 2 books, a couple of dvd's & the dog sweater. All but one were on clearance at a much lower points redemption level than normal.

Is there something you have your eye on?
