The Brainy Baby DVD's sell for $17.99 and they are 80,000 points. Wii Fit sells for $90 and it's 1,500,000 points. That makes NO sense at all.
Yesterday I had 430,000 but used 100,000 points for the Sakura Gelly Roll pens which I figured was a good deal. They sell for $3.79 each and you get 4 packages ($15.16) for 100,000 points. It's not as good a deal as the Brainy baby DVD's but better than some of the other prizes listed. Besides, I have some of the pens and they are pretty cool - my kids love them.
I was going to keep collecting points but with the iPod being gone, there wasn't anything left that was worth saving up for. So, I figured it was about time to start spending them.
Are there any members who have 1,500,000+ points??? Why would you keep collecting points if there's nothing you want?
just curious....

after the "pigsback" problems (closing and losing points) I get nervous when I get to a certain point level and I want to redeem them for a prize. I am worried if I hold off too long the sight will close down....LOL!

NSAngel, i am so sorry about your car! wow, that is horrible! I pray it turns out to be a blessing in disguise for you! I am glad you weren't in it!
I agree jodew71, the brainy baby toy, however, sold retail $9.99, and was 175,000 pts, while the dvds were $17.99 and were only 80,000 pts. I recently got a Sports parent cd rom that was 16,000 pts, and retail (when I clicked the link to see details) it was $39.99. and the pig they had recently, was 200,000 i think, but it sold for something like 12.99.
those pearl necklaces, if you click the "see details link" you can see more about the prize. Well, that link takes you to a page where you can order 7 sets of the pearl& stone necklace/earring sets, for only $67. to get all 7 sets from points and prizes... 1,400,000 points=$67.00
it really doesn't make any sense.
and wow, there are alot of new DVDs listed today in prizes!
I am very glad to have the P&P to do though, I am trying to earn some things for my kids for Christmas, my DH was without work 8 months last year, Christmas was not very much here, and his job now doesn't pay alot. So, even though the system of points= to prize amounts isn't very good, I sure thank God for Points and Prizes, lol. besides, its a good way to use my time, otherwise, I'd be watching the television
I think that whoever sets the point amounts, sets it based on what they think will be most popular. there doesn't seem to be any method to it. It would be much easier if there was some sort of system to it.
Thanks everyone for the words!
I came here to post one, and it was already here!
