I am sooo glad to hear there are still drive-ins
Some of my fondest childhood ( and high school but that's another story for another time) came from going to the drive in with my parents. it was a huge event. Kids in jammies, people playing frisbee, entire families in lawn chairs, my dad falling asleep with his head up against those brutal speakers
Does anybody else remember "Billie Jack" movies?

In Ontario there still are quite a few drive ins
http://www.driveinmovie.com/Canada/
this link will let you search for driveins in your provinces. But I did notice some where missing that I know are still around. Drive ins are cheaper than theatres when there are 5 of you
Thursdays is $14 a car load where we go and even on full price day you see 2 movies for the price of one

I am glad to see that you guys are NOT staying on topic.. besides, lately there haven't been many words to post at ALL.. so we have to stay busy with something.
I agree with what was said.. if you don't post words here at all, maybe you have a hard time finding them, or you come after someone has already posted the ones you were going to post, etc etc... but don't complain about the people who DO post words having a little fun in this thread. Life is about fun, and complaining just brings everyone down! Lets all just be happy and fun, this is my favorite thread on the whole site

Hello again people!
I just read the posts on the last two pages. I guess we did get a little off topic...
So I'll keep to the basics...words.
Words?
Anyone?
Hellooooooooo......? (hears crickets chirping)

our drive-ins had swing sets and things for the kids to play with before the movies started and you always wore your pjs
and yes there used to be Billy Jack marathons when I was younger, the theatre would run movies all night, also do you remember Matt Helm movies, he was Dean Martin's James Bond
& I like this forum just the way it is!!

Wow, I sure missed a lot on here by not being on all day! LOL I think this thread would be really boring if we stuck to topic. I check a zillion times a day just to see what people have written and like to get a good chuckle out of it, especially if it's been a bad day. I especially like reading NSangel's posts, she cracks me up!
Thanks Sally for posting Boo's info on such and everyone else for sticking up for it. I agree with you ONmom, if the poster is just on here to use us then they shouldn't be complaining.
By the way NSAngel . . . Zohan is played by Adam Sandler, not Ben Stiller, but that's okay.
We have a drive-in here in the Niagara Region and I love going. Been already twice since it opened for the season and both times it rained but that's okay because I didn't really go to watch the movie!
I am a really shy person and don't usually speak up about anything or speak in a crowd but on here I don't feel as shy because none of you know who i am!(well, except ryanmike!)

I remember going when I was young with my parents in my pj's, and when I was a teen and i couldnt go I could sit on my roof and see the movies we lived so close to one, but could never hear it, but was still fun.
There is one drive in about 40 minutes from where I live know, I am trying to talk my dh into going when the kids are at camp.
