I am still posting words on the original thread. I won't be in here often, unless I have time to kill (which does happen now and then!) lol I just haven't quite figured out Wikki ... is it for all P&P words or just 250"s ???

Hey guys
I volunteered, and Boo has made me the P&P Wiki keeper. I will be updating the Wiki several times daily, as words are posted (Or I find them myself)

I encourage everyone to keep posting the words they find in the WORDS thread, and I will check that thread and this thread several times a day and update the wiki accordingly. That way no one needs to worry about how to update it themselves when they find something, etc.. It will be neat and clean, and your "One stop shop" to pick up the words if you are in a hurry.

I have updated it with everything current, including the 250 point weeklys, the Hunt words, newsletter words (Those will be more complete when the set comes out next week.. I don't have enough notes to make it complete this week), and the 100 point contest words.

This week might be kinda lame for the wiki, but starting fresh this coming week it will rock, I promise

I am sorry to all who do not aprove of recent actions even though I never did anything without seeking aproval first. Many are happy with the split but unfortunately the angry are louder and for my health and my babies I have decided to leave. Thanks again for all the good times.

Hello all

I haven't been active on the P&P site lately--my access to computer time has been somewhat limited--and I am just catching up on all the changes. For what it's worth, I wanted to throw in my two cents on the matter.

First of all, I agree wholeheartedly with the splitting of the threads. Don't get me wrong--I love the P&P thread. It is one of the most entertaining threads on the forum and is perhaps the one that shows the most "community" spirit. There are many regulars in that thread who joined SC after discovering our little community trying to find P & P words. Many of the members who post on the P & P thread do not post elsewhere--either they haven't discovered the tea room (it took me a while to find it myself) or only come here for that one purpose. Either way, I love the chit chats, the insanity and keeping on top of everything that goes on with my fellow SC'rs.

That being said, I admit I have what I call LGS (Lurker's Guilt Syndrome). You know the feeling--you log on, you scope out the new P & P words, collect your points and leave without even posting a thank you. I confess I do this more than I care to admit. I work full time and cannot use my work computer for anything other than business-related stuff (I work in a call center environment--everything gets monitored including phone calls and computer access). If I am lucky, the computers in the break room may be free when during my break time--about 15 min each day--so I have to make the most of my free time. I usually spend my daily break time searching the thread for words then collecting my points.

For those of you who spend a great deal of time and energy searching for the hunt words and taking the time to post them (and you know who you are) I don't want you to think that I am anything less than grateful. Somehow a simple "thank you" post never says enough. Believe me, all the hard work is very much appreciated!!!!

So for me, by having a thread dedicated to nothing but words, you have helped to make my break time more productive! Then later, when I have more time, I can still catch up with all the ups and downs in the lives of my SC friends in this new thread.

Lolcat - I have printed off the pages listed on the wiki to see if I have missed any words - as you say you will update the pages couple times a day, how will we know which are new words added since we have last looked at it to add words to the p&p site??

I am also refraining from posting, for a while. But I have to tell you this.

This would have been a good solution if it was done BEFORE ppls feelings got hurt and ppl got nasty emails. For some ppl it's too late to spit the thread, the damage has been done.

I hate to see us lose our sense of community that we've built up as well. But hindsight tells me that it all shoulda been done when that first poster months ago came on and requested that we "stay on topic". at that pt i said i would try, but ppl din't want me to try. i feel personally responsible for this thread going down hill, and i appologize for my part in all of it.

I LURVS you all, and i'm very proud of LOLcat taking over the wiki thread.

i also find it hard to move around (remember my post? i just found the fookin' game room!) so i will try to post my words thru wiki. i'm sure lolcat will help us if we get stuck.

so, i keep debating as to if i should say what i want to say or hold in (you see i really hate confrontation and while i'm trying to give it up, i am a people pleaser through and through and can't bear people being mad with me)

where am i going with this?... i just want everyone to get over everything and get along! (i know, i know...it will never be that easy) but every time i read everyone's opinions and ideas and grievances i get a little more stressed over something that should not cause stress. maybe i'm too sensitive, but good god...

i think i might have to take a break.
