HEY YOU ALL!
Ok, first, the wiki is updated now... I hope the people who just want the words do check it, because it is a lot of work.. but TOTALLY worth it to see the thread back the way it was. If we can keep it this way and keep everyone happy by having the wiki, then I will LOVE doing it

I was glad to see at least a few of the newsletters, AND the weekly words almost on time. It was refreshing after the last couple weeks.

Now, speaking as an American import, I know of all these Canadian delicacies of which we are speaking... lol. I never had a donair before I moved here, but my hubby introduced me to them. We even have kits in the freezer section of the grocery that have everything including sauce inside to make them up in the frying pan. DELICIOUS. And they are especially good after an evening at the bar.. we have lots of little booths in downtown London that sell them late at night, lol.

Poutine... eh. I don't love it, but I am not a huge french fry person. However, it is something you HAVE to try, because it is very unusal and delightful. I have only had the cheese curd kind, and from a chip stand.. which I also never heard of before I moved here, except something kind of like it at the beaches in NJ and NY. (where I am from originally)

Jodew71, it made me smile that you live in Timmins. Before I got married to my husband (who made my last name Slade) my last name was Timmons, and I had never heard that name from anyone else I ever met... till I moved here and found out it was a large, fairly famous city

Someone had mentioned that in the newest P&P contest (back to school?) there was no mention of points for entries or voting. I contacted P&P about this very thing a while ago, and they said that it is something that is now "Assumed" for every contest like this that they post, and it won't be put into the rules anymore, but that the points will be given for posting an entry and for voting. Hope that info helps

Now, all this food talk has made the pregnant chick freaking hungry, and I am going to go stuff my face. I bought myself Salt water taffy at Bulk Barn today, and I am going to eat it ALL.

to let everyone know my great neice is now home and they have a monitor that lets them know if she stops breathing. So far there hasnt been anymore episodes of that so that is good.
