I can see all the rules in Firefox... I didn't enter because of the paragraph at the top. I don't think they're giving points this time because you don't log in, plus it says you can vote hourly for each pic... soooo it could vote 45 times per hour? that would be a schwack of points - no mention of 10 times a day! plus the contest is only in the banner on sheknows - not mentioned on P&P, I'll email P&P I guess

That's great Jenny. Hope she continues to do better every day! I don't remember you telling us what was going on, so thanks for letting us know. It's easier to say a prayer when you know what you're praying for.
so...I guess you figured you would just go ahead and pass that saltwater taffy craving on to us huh???Thanks a lot!! LOL!
Good tomatoes with almost anything makes a meal to me! I had some last night too!
Couldn't give you rep again, but i'll go back and do it like I did the last time!
Welcome to the forum fellow American cave dweller-LOL!!

Yep, theynever seem to make anything clear
lolcat posted this in post #8860:
Someone had mentioned that in the newest P&P contest (back to school?) there was no mention of points for entries or voting. I contacted P&P about this very thing a while ago, and they said that it is something that is now "Assumed" for every contest like this that they post, and it won't be put into the rules anymore, but that the points will be given for posting an entry and for voting. Hope that info helps

OK-so sorry about being such a thread hog today, but I have to report back about my poutine....
so....I actually did it!! Real potatoes, cut in to size of steak fries, drizzled them in olive oil, salt, and pepper and baked them-added the cheese on top-poured gravy over..
Balanced all the fat with some fresh green beans and homegrown tomatoes...
It was very yummy!!I can only imagine how good it is with the "right" ingredients.
My son loved it-cleaned the plate and then ate my daughter's. She really wanted hers but her tummy was hurting. She had just played a long hot soccer game, that's prob why.
I also had a guest over who declined eating when he saw it. I made him try it anywayand he liked it and ate everything on the plate. He's a very picky eater and still rated it a 7!
So...it was a success! Thanks for all the tips!

You get candy every time you post-save it up to "shop" with-see Candyland in the solid red bar above
rep is reputation-you can give good or bad rep to someone for each post if you want
to give rep-click on the little link in bottom left hand corner of a post next to the green light-type in a message with it if you want
getting rep-you get rep points, then stars for it going from bronze to silver to gold-when you have new rep there will be a notice on the upper right by the private messages link-your rep power stays at 0 for awhile, I don't know why or for how long...
Someone else could prob add more as I'm still learning myself
I also just found this. There is a thread called Site Overview somewhere that explains everything.
Candies explained
Candies are like a points system for the board.
You earn candies for creating threads and replying to posts.
As they collect you can purchase items in Candy Land.
A lot of users use it to purchase little colourful gifts for other users for various reasons.
To do that you can go HERE and type in the persons user name you'd like to give to. Also you can choose the gift to give.
Have fun playing with candies!!Last edited by rebate queen; Thu, Sep 4th, 2008 at 04:45 PM.
