Hurricane Hanna is headed straight at us here in coastal North Carolina. I'm sure I'll lose power at some point tomorrow evening, because we usually do. Just wanted to let you know if I'm not on for a while, it's because I'm sitting here staring at a blank computer screen

It's headed up the Atlantic to Canada as well, due to hit there Sunday. Who knows though? Hurricanes are fickle, but they love coming here. It has remained steady at a Category 1, not showing much change. We'll see...they already cancelled school for tomorrow here. I'm right on the coast.

My sister's best friend is canadian and introduced us to the board. And I was a lurker for along time. I really liked alot of the people on here and wanted to join in on all the fun they were having.


Besides the closet needs cleaning so I had to come out lol.

Please be thinking of us on Sunday morning when it's due to hit here! We are also right on the coast but my husband was just watching the weather on the computer earlier and it seems to have moved over a little and heading more towards New Brunswick but we are still in the path. Lots could still happen and it could change it's path again.

No poutine for me yet. We were going to go out for supper tonight and I was going to order one but our neighbors gave us fresh lobster so that's what we're having. My husband is gone downstairs to eat his now so I guess I should join him!
