Hugs to all.. it is HORRIBLE here today. We are in Southern Ontario, and we are getting spinoff rain from the storm. I think it might take down the tree in our backyard. I cannot even see out the front windows at all! yikes!

I'm off to do supper dishes and veg out in front of the TV now that I am done my voting. I am not stopping till they pull the contest

we are just getting the tropical depression remains now from Ike...winds are bad and been getting loads of rain hoping we dont lose power tonight or else I will have to go to bed early

Are there just fewer words or have we lost some big word hunters in the chaos that happened.

nope, 90% of the posted hunt words have been found with the exception of the message boards. i have checked a few and there is nothing yet.

but i think the contest is buggering up the points for the word hunt and shouldn't we have gotten some regular pt words over the weekend?

I don't think we lost any of our powerhouse word hunters I made note of all the sources words came from, and we have the same bases covered as ever.. weeklys, newsletters, contest words, and monthly contest words. Maybe it seems less because they went from a 300 and 3x 50 point words to a 450 point word for the newsletters that had them. Also, the monthly contests aren't all they used to be. Last month we never found all the forum words, and other word posting forums that I check didn't find them either.

but makes me wonder, if they're too busy investigating to bother to stop it at this pt.

They don't have the best record going either... any contest that ran past its date before, they haven't subtracted the "Days past expiration" points from contesters. So... ugh. They better pull that thing in the morning! I'm still voting, but I think it is killing my brain cells now... hehehe

and I think the words are becoming scarce because p&p are making it that way...
and if I lose my power I won't be a happy camper LOL my sister is coming to kick me off in a sec till she goes to bed then I get the computer back till I go to bed.
