pf: i would but last time i was even worse than this she didn't do or prescribe a damn thing. the first is what thurs? i wouldn't get in before then anyway, and i'm not sitting in emerg for hours. i don't feel that bad, just very annoyed.

Wow...how sad...we always have a doctor on call here...luckily I already had an apppointment scheduled with mine a few days ago so I was able to get something...

Drink lots of water and juices...vitamin C...spit all that guck out that you can so it doesn't go down...

Yesterday at Muskogee high School (next town from us) a riot broke out at the homecoming celebration and 18 teenagers were arrested and will be suspended. Still not sure why there was a riot tho. Maybe there is just something in the air lately.

OH the state Fair is in TUlsa this weekend. They are advertising salad on a stick. Deep fried salad on a stick. I would love to see that one. They fry everything there. Chocolate bars, hotdogs, sounds gross to me. We never go to the state fair tho. Tulsa is a very dangerous place.

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been gone for so long. It's been a bad time here at my house lately and I just haven't had the energy to be on here or the computer at all.

Hubby and I have been having some problems. Nothing major, just what happens when you work, have kids, are involved in community, play sports, etc. In other words, there was time for everyone else but each other and our marriage.
Everything came to a head, and he left for a couple of days. At the time, it was the worst thing that had ever happened to me. In the long run, it was the best thing. We both had some time to think, and decide what was really important to us.
We have had several counseling sessions with our pastor, and we are doing a relationship course that he recommended. Things are so much better now, but we both know that we have to work on it every day. We have cut out some of the activities that were taking us away from each other all the time, and we are looking for things that we can get involved in together.
Thanks so much for all the support. I was amazed when I logged on and read all the pm's that you guys have sent. I have said it before, and I will say it again, this is the greatest board on the net! You guys are the best!
I didn't read through all that I have missed. Just went to the wiki and got the words. So forgive me if I don't comment on anything major that has happened. Right now, it's just good to be back!

NS - you should still try to see the doc. Do your sinuses hurt? If so they you should be on antibiotics. Drack yellow is not good, but green is realy bad. Is there a walk-in clinic you can to? When I can't get to my doctors, I hit the walk-in clinic.

Seek - Salad on a stick, now that sounds healthy, not LOL.

Has anyone tried the piglickers? Chocolate covered bacon, sounds interesting, I love to know what it tastes like.

I am inquiring about the exact end date of the Back to School Photo Contest. it is plainly posted that it ended Sept 11th. However, I can still vote, and leave comments. This has caused some confusion for other entrants as well as myself.

If indeed it is over, when did you stop counting votes? As well, when will you be annoucing the winners?

RQ that sounds like a lot of fun! I took a massage course a couple years ago. I loved being the demonstration girl for the rest of the class to practice on - I'd always fall asleep LOL. In the end i didn't continue with it because i found it too physically demanding.. made my back so sore.

I saw a recipe for Chocolate Chip & Bacon cookies once... grossed me out. Two things that should never go together - no way i'm even attempting it... i have a friend who eats peanut butter and salsa sandwhiches and even that sounds better. yuck
