OK Aphena....I have THE name!!
I did a little research so that I could think of a name that was unique, yet had some meaning. I looked up Russian Blues. Now, I'm not claiming I know enough to debate with anyone, but this is what I understood.
Many cat experts do not consider the medium to long haired blues, real Russian Blues. (I think they are much prettier than the short haired ones)
Anyway, a breed called Nebulung was started in the early 80's by someone named Cobb. In the first litter, there was only one medium/long haired Blue. It's name was Siegfried.
So, that's the perfect name....
Siegfried....maybe Sieg or Sieggie for short.

haun, you really would have a hard time messing up a roast in a crock pot. I can't give you a tried and true recipe because I just wing it every time and throw in whatever is handy.
It even turns out good if all you use is water, salt and pepper.
Things I have added...let's see:
onions always, celery, various peppers, any vegetables including leftovers-I have even thrown in mashed potatoes, beef boullion or broth, sometimes I've used tomato type items(paste, sauce, juice, diced/crushed) for the "juice", sometimes garlic, bay leaves, Mrs. Dash, or other dry seasonings, worcesterchire sauce....whatever sounds good....

Thanks, i have always cooked mine in the oven, is very delish, just thought I would try one in the crockpot and want it to taste as good.
I found something that says to put roast and pack of gravy mix in and cook on low over night, then in morning put in 1 cup water and cook onlow till supper. You figure that be good?l

Yep, I've done it with gravy mix also. Sounds good to me. The only thing I would say is to check it periodically. Crock pots just aren't the same as they used to be. Your food should not be boiling on low, but my last 2 crockpots have both done that. You may need more water.
If you have always done them in the oven, you will probably find this method to make a much more tender roast. You can also get away with much cheaper cuts of meat...as they will still turn out tender!
Let me know how it turns out. Also, if you do decide to add any veggies, I would wait until the last 3-4 hours of cooking---so they don't turn to mush(less time if they are precooked)
