Although I love chocolate (who doesn't?!?) I've never been a fan of nanaimo bars. You can buy them ready made at M&M meats (sorry you southerners, it's a Canadian store) and I've also seen them made with a mint centre.

Well, I did read that it wasn't easy to find here, and I've never seen it before in my life. I also read that you could sub instant vanilla pudding. Do you think it's the same, or do I need the custard powder for it to be the real thing??

By reading the ingredients, I don't see any way that I wouldn't like it. It sounds awesome!!

Wow, I hope I am not sounding like a repeat, but I have to say this again. I came to this board thinking it would be like any other. You post and no one really gives a rats behind, and you move on. I came back on this evening after getting home from the hospital, and had many well wishes by PM's for my mom, and more "welcome to the boards". Y'all ( <---- lol yes it is a southern accent lol) made me cry. I'm sure it is just the emotions from the long day, but y'all have really made me feel very welcome here. I thank you again. So, as I seen posted last night, the lurkers really should join this board and experience the kindness. Okay carry on.............
