Today is my grandma's 90th birthday so my husband and I will be heading out to visit with her this evening. She suffers from Alzheimers so it's really sad to visit her as she has no idea who we are but she always has such a beautiful smile and has the most amazing blue eyes I'm SO thankful to still have her in my life...

I hope I can make her smile this evening Just had to share her 90th with you all!

Hi everyone just popping in before heading out the door to have my son home-school tested. I really hate this CRAP fighting him 24/7 .. to do the DAMN STUFF. Then have to fight to get him to move his a$$ to go be tested 2 days a week.. Thanks for all the new words.
I belong to pinecone research too. I have been a member for about 12 years maybe longer can't remember. I belong to surveyspots they sent me out a box of frozen waffles to try. You get a few dollars here and there with them. Um.. bzz agent, mysurvey, I am sure there are others I just can't remember them.

I will be back later on after fighting this teenage. I really need a vacation away from men and kids.

Oh yeah my uncle in VA has Alzheimers. He has had it for about 9 years. Was out there in June this year and OMG let me tell you a big difference since Aug 2006. Anyways have to move my butt and get this BRAT moving..

Thanks for the new words - just spent almost the last 2 hours in the forums with no luck - I got a couple tips from one of the members on finding words but still no luck - anyone else have tips for us to try to help with finding forum words?

seek has good tips.

1. firefox can work faster than mie, heard opera works faster than both,
2. the point word comes up LAST so make sure the page is fully loaded. in firefox you can rightclick on VIEW PAGE INFO, and go to MEDIA. it will list all the links on the site. if the p&p word is somehere on that page it will show up in the addresses. you have to wait for those to load to, but keeps you from going through the whole page.

3. seek swears you have to keep refreshing. i wouldn't be surprised. i wordhunted all yesterday and nothing. today i seen em all.

4. the same hosts usually posts the same words..but not always. i found kimbaby had edited a current post that was not a host and stuck aword there (sting).

5. they will sometimes use the same place as a word from another hunt but often not.

6. if you do a search, you will only get the last 100 posts. also, you can only search back one year. (???)

7. you can also go through the forums alphabetically. you maybe able to go back further that way i donno.

last month i found a ton of words at the top of each thread in stickys. but doesn't seem to be that way this time.

I think it was RQ who posted POPCORN as a borrowed word and we didn't have an expiry date for it. It was on Oct 7th (Tuesday) which means it was one of LAST weeks 250pt words. My philosophy is... when you don't know the expiry date, enter it first!

I do the pinecone surveys also, they pay usually $3 for surveys, I've also gotten some food (nasty) to try out.
Bzz agent used to be so good, I still do it but now they are asking for money for things, a fraction I'm sure of what they cost but $129 for a $400 nutrition thing that I wouldn't buy is rather ridiculous and income is very limited so doubtful I'll spend even $40 for a electric razor. They do still have some things available free but it's been awhile since I've been offered a new campaign one I haven't already done. Have gotten some fantastic things on there though for free to try and tell others about and great coupons to pass on to others. Since they changed the way they give out prizes for amount of bzz reported I now get $10 gas gc's but there are all kinds of gc's available right now the gas ones are just really nice even if $10 doesn't buy nearly enough gas anymore.

This site gives you a list of surveys that actually pay. The first survey place I was with I got nothing for a couple years worth of surveys except hope to maybe win a contest someday.

REBATE: i hopes ya had a rockin' birthday. i didn't have a chance to visit the tearoom (yet), but i posted something on your profile page. My head has been going in diff directions yesterday. it's nuts.

found out that yes MILK/LACTOSE is one of the culprits. after my sinuses finally cleared, i stayed clear of milk/milk products. then i ate a pc of cheese. one hour later COULD NOT hear a damn thing. sinuses blocked right up. still waiting for it to clear, and still avoiding milk!

so that's 2 intolerances lactose, and sugar...so far.

pretty soon they can just give me a megavitamin and call it supper.

Both of my kids are lactose intolerant too, they buy the soy milk and like that but my daughters one big weakness is ice cream also but geez she really suffers for eating it I don't understand it I know I wouldn't be eating ice cream if it did that to me! She'll spend hours in the bathroom with cramping and diarrhea for every bowl she indulges, I think I'd give it up myself but we all have our weaknesses. Mine is dill pickles, bread and butter pickles and lemons. OMG I love my lemons but I also tend to bite my lips so OUCH it hurts to eat them at times!!!
