Thanks everyone for all the well wishes for my dad - he's doing great but because he was bed ridden for so long he is taking therapy to get his strength back and when doesn't want to do it on any day he tells them no and they don't push him - he's 76 next month and if I was up there would kick his azz out of the bed and get him using the walker to get his strength back - he's just being a cantakerous (sp) old coot. Talk to him almost every night and tell him he will never get out until able to walk and eat better and be able to digest his food (his reason for being in hospital - he had almost all his small bowel removed (deteriorated) and thought we were going to lose him during any of his 8 surgeries). Now he just being the typical male - poor poor me - lol.

Reb - got the razors in about 7-8 weeks so you should receive yours soon.

Tick - I am SO sorry to hear about your father. Please know that you and your family are being kept in my thoughts and prayers. Life is scary at times isn't it? All you can do is keep reassuring things are going to be okay. Lots of TLC and treasure every moment you can spend with him. I didn't have the opportunity to spend last moments with my mom

Happy Turkey Day to all my fellow canucks! Hope you have a wonderful day! My husband and I will be spending it by ourselves as usual! His family is all in NY and we have an estranged relationship with my father. I have two sibblings but they live in the valley. So, we just make do with what we have and we always make a nice meal (boiled dinner with a yummy picnic ham) and eat lots! I will also be bringing a big plate of boiled dinner to my soon to be 89 year old veteran

It's feast time again tomorrow with the neighbors! We do this every weekend! But since it's Thanksgiving weekend, some are not able to attend so we decided to go ahead with it anyways! My husband and I are make a huge spaghetti sauce with meatballs and the neighbor is making the spaghetti and bringing the garlic bread and the black forest cake! Can't wait!

Well, my dh is trying to.. i guess now they got his work cell number and are calling him on there, i hate to be the guy who gave them the number..lol..its just ridiculous they rarely want to se ehim as it is, he was kicked out at 16 because he got an earring its such a strained relationship, i'm just trying to keep peace but apparently that has backfired...i am trying now to get my mil on the phone to ask her politely to ask her other kids to stop with the emails. Why would a person want to go after all the nasty emails ..i didnt even answer them back..did not want to be rude...but maybe its time to be after 11 yrs..lol
