I was thinking of starting a thread to explain coupons and terminology.

It would be similar to the "Contest Tips" thread or "Freebies Guide".

    Topics suggestions:
    - different types of coupons - printable, save.ca, manufacturer
    - how to obtain coupons - in-store, online, writing emails
    - terminology: stackable, etc
    - understanding the coupons "one per purchase" versus "one per item" etc.
    - coupon trading basics
    - maximizing your savings using coupons

    TERMINOLOGY
    * Manufacturer coupon - coupons offered by the product manufacturer, usually obtained by mail, in magazines
    * Store coupons - found in the store, placed next to the item or on an in-store display
    * Stackable/stacking = several different coupons can be used on the same item
    * One coupon per purchase = only the ONE coupon can be used on the item, not allowed to combine any other coupons with this one
    * One coupon per item = different coupons can be stacked on this item, but only ONE per type of coupon, per item.
    * May not be combined with any other coupon = not stackable

I would try to post as best as I can, with help from our veteran couponers.

Looking for comments on whether this would be useful. Also would like some feedback on other possible topics.
