Just make sure you know your animal and symptoms of commen illnesses of it. I know this guy from experience and he almost ALWAYS tries to come up with things to get you to pay more. He's tried to rip me and my family off thousands of dollars and also cost my mom $700 for all these tests for my moms ferret only to notice the next day AFTER about 6 tests that he had a canker sore in his mouth (which he looked in but didn't notice until $700 later) and never offered to give her her money back considering he looked in the ferrets mouth during the exam and before the tests.

Look, no offence to you but, I never said he came up with crazy illnesses. I'm just telling my experience with this guy and saying that EVERYONE that i know that has went to him he has tried to get them to pay for unneccesary things. My aunt has been breeding and showing Labrador Retrievers for 30 years and most of the breeders she knows will not use him. She said he'd almost lost his license about 10 years ago for preforming operations on animals who didn't need anything done.
Besides that they charge $120.00 for a vet check for a dog.
My vet charges $78.00 for the exact same thing.
But, aside from that i guess $20 off is good for him.
