Hoover S1120 Hand Held Wet/Dry Vac
http://www.amazon.ca/Hoover-S1120-Ha.../dp/B000981H6O
We've had this for about two years now. It has good suction and it is nice that it handles both dry and wet. We thought it worked okay, until we bought second cordless vac (different brand).
The Hoover does not hold the charge. It has to be kept on the charger or it will loose the charge in a day. It also has very little use charge, under 10 minutes of use.
The easy empty dirt cup, also is not easy to empty. It does however keep the dirt within the vacume, once it is in it is in, unlike other handvacs which have a small flap to keep things in, this one does a good job in that.
I would not reccommend it for cleaning up wet messes as it is very hard to clean.
Over all, I would try a shark or a dirt devil before getting another hoover. I was not impressed.

That looks like a nice vac. We currently own two sharks. One is the stick vac which I use more than my regular vac because it is so light weight.

We realized how bad our hoover handvac was when we bought this one:

It makes such a difference and holds the charge really well.Last edited by matrix82; Wed, Oct 6th, 2010 at 05:10 PM.
