There are quite a few along Yonge Street from College to Bloor, and I've gone into all of them. I like ABC Bookstore best, it is located on 662 Yonge Street, just north of Yonge and Wellesley. It is a no frills used bookstore.

I find that they have good prices on their used books, their prices are more reasonable than Eliot's Bookshop. Selection is not bad.

    Hope this helps.

Is ABC good? I went a few times when I lived in the Annex, but it was always dirty and never had what I wanted. The one I used to go to is Seekers Books. It's on the bottom floor, at Bathurst/Bloor. They have tons of stuff. I recently saw one near me, at Bayview and Eglinton. It's called Pleasant Book Store. Sorry OP don't want to hijack your thread...but does anyone know if Pleasant is good? They were closed when I saw it.

I second this. There's a fair size one on Edward, by World's Biggest Book Store. It has a far number of classics/"important" novels because Ryerson English students will sometimes sell their books there.
