I did this deal last time, i think it was on livingsocial. I transferred the e-gift card onto my gift card

Yes, I've done the e-gift cards before with the deal sites and once you get the groupon (after the deal closes i think) you are able to load it right onto a normal gift card by doing a balance transfer on the starbucks site.
