IT Guy 1: how do you know its the network drop
Me: because it works if I run the cable into the other room
IT Guy 1: you aren't supposed to touch the cables
Me: yeah well I figured it was easier than trouble shooting the easy crap with them
IT Guy 1: so have you tried turning your computer on?
Me: yes, thats how I know it works when I use the other network drop
IT Guy 1: well, you aren't supposed to do that stuff I am getting my surpervisor
IT Guy 2: Whats the issue?
Me: My network drop blew when the power went out
IT Guy 2: ok we will send someone down
~wait 20 mins for guy to walk from office right above mine~
IT Guy 3: plugs in checking device and says 'hey this network drop is completely dead'
Me: yes thats what I said when I called
IT Guy 3: I am just a software guy, not sure why they sent me (notice he had drop checking machine even though he is just a software tech)
Eventually I went up there and spoke to their boss and she came down and fixed it herself
