I made clocks from old CDs. I used Printmaster to do the face numbers and I put a background picture on the CD label to make personalized clocks. I bought the clocks at dollarama, took them apart an used the mechanism. I s that better than tarantual raising?

Thats pretty cool DH! But you have to be kinda good with things...I would take the clock apart and then be like...now what! hahaha
Bub what about scrapbooking? You can do all your kids pics from birth to now family trips, events? I know you have massive pics hahaha There is also digital scrapbooking which sound fun and i want to get into to!

old cd's also make nice xmas ornaments you can bedazzle them with lots of things. drill a little hole in the top and put a ribbon through them and glue stuff from the dollar store. We did this for the kraft fair at shool. You can also buy cheap plastic colored ornaments and use wool for hair, googly eyes, cut out red foam for lips. The kids love those.

It can be tedious but once you start you wont stop until ur done the project...that is how I am bc I get super excited to see the end result lol I started a 2010 one butthen bf gothurt and I never finnished it...found it yesterday when packing so Im gonna finish it when we move.
