Can't make any promises, will have to wait and see what my mom leaves behind.

I swear she came over and just cleaned me out last night!
Then after hearing my story she says "hmm, this is some really nice stuff, maybe you can go again tomorrow?"
She's lucky I love her and hold her dear to my heart!

So, inspired by Sunraven I went out to Hallmark after work (epic journey! don't attempt by TTC if you can help it.
Easily a mile from Fairview going there, but I took a bus from Vic Park and subwayed home. Much closer to get to bus stop on Vic Park from Hallmark, but a long trip on the bus to the subway.)
Still, i think it was worth it:
I got:
-6 Hallmark keepsake ornaments (2 x red glass Inspi(RED) hearts, the AIDS fundraiser charity, 2 x Vegas signs that play vegas sounds, and two others.) $1 each
-3 individual cards for specific upcoming occasions, including a Buffy card that plays the theme song when you open it. $1 each
-2 large rolls of Christmas paper, they say 50sq ft each. Those bins were marked $2, but she only charged me for one $2 item, so one was free?
-30 flat packages of gift wrap. (10 for a $1)
-8 packages of tissue (4 for $1)
-3 packages of Christmas cards, but one is in french! haha, should have looked closer. $1 each
I think that's it. $19 before tax, $21-something with all taxes.
here's a crappy cel phone pic of it all on the couch.
i got there shortly before 7pm, and while it was busy-ish, there was plenty of room, no real crowds.
oh, and thanks for the tip - i took a big over-the-shoulder paper shopping bag with handles and it was MUCH easier to shop with than a box!

I went today and got some awesome deals. I overheard some women talking about being there yesterday - they claimed that some stuff was cheaper today then yesterday. *who knows* Need to plan a trip to toronto (drove 3 hours) around the time of hallmark sale again next year.
SUNRAVEN - I think the ribbon was 2/$1 -not 100% sure though- didn't buy any

They are open again tomorrow, it's the last day for the sale for this month though so I don't think the selection will be the greatest unfortunately.
If you really want to go I would recommend opening day in November.
