I received an email from Labatts asking for my mailing address etc. saying that they would look into it.

lets hope your situ turns out better than mine did.
that's how things started with mine, until they gave me a cop out answer...

Got a reply from the BBB, with response from Grip Ltd.:

Hello,
In response to the claim, we would like to clarify Grip's involvement with the La Societe program. Grip is not responsible for administering the program or the delivery of the rewards to consumers. We are Stella Artois Canada's advertising agency and responsible for communicating with our members and assisting in them in resolving issues and engaging them in the program. After speaking with our client (Labatt Canada a subsidiary of AB/InBev who owns the Stella Artois brand) we agree that all future communications regarding this claim be directed to Cindy xxxx at Labatt Canada. Her contact phone number is xxxxxxxx

I had emailed Grip again last week, they told me to email [email protected] , which I did and got a reply saying my email had been forwarded to Marketing who would look into it. Nothing since then though.

by "no help" i mean she wasn't able to give me any more information than i already knew. and she wasn't able to help me get the missing items i rightfully earned.

My friend in the US received an email from LaSociete that his remaining rewards were going to be sent to him shortly (he already received the Patagonia jacket and is waiting for the CK sunglasses and the BBQ set).
I only wish that the Canadian counterparts were as helpful and forthcoming instead of all this BS.
I have now completely stopped drinking all Labatts products and have also sent a letter to their office in London Ontario outlining my dissappointment with the program and how it was run.

don't hold your breathe. La Societe has all but closed up shop with regards to BETA Phase

Sadly, I received the same response from the BBB as everyone else. I have not contacted Cindy yet, but it sounds as though there isn't much of a point in doing so.

I really don't understand how Labatt feels justified in their decision to do nothing after so many people have complained. They really have lost my business for good...and I'll be sure to tell people the reason for it.

I am pretty happy with Stella! They took me on an amazing TIFF adventure (gave me the grand prize for the contest they had on their site where you had to arrange the videos in order). It was awesome and all the people who work for Stella that I met were fantastic.
