Thread: Hamilton SDMs

I posted about having trouble with coupons at one sdm last week. Later in the week I have tried at another Hamilton SDM and again denied. Im not sure but it seems they are only allowing one coupon per transaction now. I have tried centre mall and eastgate locations. Anyone else with the same situation? These are all brandsaver/ no printables. They scspecially do not like when you get an item for free.

One coupon per transaction no stacking at the Eastgate SDM - I live close to there and go there. You can talk to the female manager - can't remember her name but she won't do anything. I also notice the SDM at Eastgate has limits on sale products but then when I go to SDM on the mountain there are no limits.

Have you asked as to why this is? I also remember one cashier not allowing me to stack with a sale item. This week they have gain on sale for 3.99 and wont beable to use my coupon.

It's not one coupon per transaction., and using 3 coupons on 3 items is not what is meant by stacking. I've been going there for years. Most mall location SDMs have a limit of 4 for any item that is in the flyer.
I've never had a problem at the center mall location either. I used to go there all the time because it had groceries. I used heaps of coupons and never had a problem.

I never had a problem until the last 2 weeks. Especially the eastgate location never hassled me. The last 2 weeks all of a sudden they seem toi have put this policy in place. I think she said they are not reciueving the money back for the coupon or something like that. I emailed corporate on the policy but i guess they will say it is a store to store policy
Le me know if you go in this week end and how you come outLast edited by ferdo; Fri, Oct 29th, 2010 at 06:56 PM.

Hmmm, sounds like they are just giving people a hard time at the Eastagate location. They aren't very friendly to begin with, and they've probably been misinformed about something. I just went to one on Mohawk today and used all kinds if coupons no problem. Do you go to the Center Mall and Eastgate locations because you take the bus?

It is not a store policy, they have a central policy
I complain about my mall location quite a bit too, one time the cashier asked me for ID to use a coupon and wanted to go off with my ID to copy it to put with the coupons! Ummm NO
Now if I do go to a mall location its Mapleview (I am in Burlington) but boy did SDM get a nasty call and email over that and they assured me that while printables the store has a little more say over (whether they look fake/copied from a real coupon rather than a true printable etc) the reg coupons have to follow their policyLast edited by FallenPixels; Sat, Oct 30th, 2010 at 09:07 AM.
