I'm proposing we have a health and relationships society... but due to the sensitivity of these issues i think it should have an "anonymous posting" feature. So you can choose whether or not to post anonymously.
what do you guys think? any suggestions or objections are more than welcome
If I were to have such a society we'll need a society leader... if you think you're knowledgeable "health and relationship" please let me knowThis thread is currently associated with: N/A

i wont allow "guest" posting
you still need to be registered to post but the message is posted as "anonymous"
thank goodness we don't have trolls on SC so I don't see that as a problem... at least not in the short run.
And if the outcome is disastrous we can always terminate the society... remember societies aren't necessarily temporary... based on a society's progress it is either: terminated, stays as a society or promoted to a full section.
Only reason I'm thinking of having this is coz i'm sure some members avoid asking questions or posting new threads asking about something coz we feel like we know each other now.

I think its a great idea.. I love getting people's opinions and giving mine. I'm up for being one of the leaders if there are no other takers.

I'm thinking that this is a topic that would not be of great interest to me. But that's OK, it doesn't have to be to be a good idea.
For me - not so much - for others - whatever they want....I can choose to go to the forum or choose not to - that would be my decision.

I think it could be an interesting idea for sure. You could always try it for a while and like you said if it doesn't work out then you could always end it.
But you'd know who was posting anyhow wouldn't you? (you meaning you)
What is the details of the anonymous? Mods still see?
And what would be expected of a "leader" in this new society?
Sort of like what Pink and PIP do in the entertainment section?

I would be concerned because it is annoyomous some people not saying most but you could have people say mean things.

Would the moderators be able to edit out rude posts if people were saying mean things?

And what I meant about anyonymous is that new people might sign up to misuse it, not that non-members would misuse it. However, we do seem to have a good community here, so use your best judgement.
