What happens if you are NOT set up to have your HBC points converted to Air Miles? Do you get to keep the 40,000 HBC points?

I don't think you'll get the points if you're not signed up to have your points converted. It says "You must be signed up for automatic redemption to receive this Bonus Offer." If you plan on spending more than $80 at Zellers I guess you could try it, you might get lucky.

Thanks for posting OP, I plan on buying my bf a Tassimo Brewer from Zellers for Christmas, this is a nice little bonus.

I'm not signed up for the transfer and usually get and keep my points when I use these hbc-am coupons. I used this one last week and it did not scan, the cashier entered it in the notebook, and I have yet to be credited for them....this would be the first time I don't get the points.

I'd like to point out again that automatic redemption of HBC/Z points for AirMiles is a very, very, very bad deal.

You lose exactly 50% of your purchasing power of your HBC/Z points doing so.

Better to exchange HBC/Z points for HBC/Z gift cards.

I tried using the airmiles coupon once--don't have it set up to automatic airmiles.. coupon scanned but did not show the points...

BUT some of you just have the Points collecting and it gave you to 80 000? Which is $10!!! lol

The 80.000 bonus points showed on my receipt directly and the coupon scanned no problem, I used it during the midnight madness event I got the computer LCD screen for $79.99 with few other stuff. It helped me to redeem for $25 Hbc GC which I already got by mail yesterday.
