I've never used a tassimo, but I'm loving my Keurig. Only thing I hate about it is the waste, those little plastic cups.

I've been considering one of these for a while now....but also, not sure which one to get: Keurig or Tassimo. I have only ever used a Keurig, and seems very simple.
Canadian Tire has the Tassimo Model TA1200 on sale this week for $94.99 (reg $149.99). Might send my Mom over to the Canadian Tire in her area because she received a scratch card in the mail specific to her local Canadian Tire for 10-100% off the price. Of course my Canadian Tire locations are too cheap to send out the scratch cardsLast edited by mulock; Fri, Nov 12th, 2010 at 02:55 PM.

Keurig is what we have and I adore it ... The feature that drew me to it is the ability to buy an insert that allows you to use your own coffee/tea ( minimize waste, use cheaper coffee'n such, and easy to wash ).
Also pay close attention to the size of coffee you use most often. Our Keurig has 5 sizes, from cold beverage to tea cup up to travel mug - I couldn't imagine not having all of these options ... But some people may use less sizes regularly.... I'm earning $5-25 Amazon.ca gift cards EVERY month, are you?
P.S. ... starting to hunt for ShoppingChannel GC's with no minimum purchase ...

How about the Nescafe Dolce Gusto? I know some of you got to try one. Did you like it? I'm not even sure how much they cost, I just know about the $20 rebate. Does that make it more in line with the others or should I spend more and get the Keurig?

I find that the Keurig k-cups are among the easiest to find, at least it seems that I see them around more than anywhere else.
As for the reusable filter, I have one and IMO it's a PITA. It drips, and it's a nuisance to have to knock the grounds out for the next person.

Just brought home a Keurig from Costco and oh man. I'm going to be an addict. Had the donut shop coffee and it was so good. I'm not a coffee mad person but it was great! I found the K-cups at Caynes (yonge and steeles) for $11 for an 18 pack (61cents a cup). Luckily we got 90 with the machine so I'm happy for now :D

Do you remember what it was going for at Costco?
