I am a pretty average size - 36c - and I usually buy slight push-up bras from La Senza, because I like their selection of prints and patterns.
I would say I usually pay about $20-$25.00 for a good underwire (I wait for a sale), but they only seem to last about 6-8 months, then they lose their shape. I usually wash them after wearing for 2 days, hand wash or gentle cycle them in the washer and always hang them to dry.
So, I figure I spend about $200/year on the girls. Am I better to buy a few high end bras, and will they last? I find the cheaper ones under $20 just don't give me good lift and support.

Wow, and you don't find they loose their shape/lift? I never notice mine are that worn until I try on a crisp new bra, then I really can feel and see the difference. But I have also had 3 kids and am over 40, so gravity is getting the better of me!! I don't remember needing such support years ago!!

i pay an arm and a leg for new bras due to my size.. but i can also get a few years out of a new bra (i try to budget 1 new bra a year)this is why i cringe whenever i see/hear of someone putting a bra in the washer lol... i will say though you do get what you pay for when it comes to buying bras.. cheapie bras do not last as long as a quality bra

There's a La Senza outlet in Pickering, ON and it's the only place I buy my bras. I dont think I've spent more than $7/bra in years!

I wish I could shop at LaSenza! Unfortunately my "girls" are a 42D and it's tough to find that size...mostly I buy the Curvation brand from Wal-Mart because I find them very comfortable and true to size. They'll last 6 months to a year, and when they go, it's always the stupid under wire that pops through...

I just spent big $$ on a bra for my girls, however, since I paid for them I like to spoil them. I went for a proper fitting and was SHOCKED at how off on the sizing I was :O
I used to wear La Senza or Victoria Secrets bras. I don't think I'll be able to fit any bras there anymore
