They have a section there for gifts for men. They have various alcohol gift sets like a gentleman jack gift set for 42.95, Wayne Gretzky wine set for under 50 and Johnnie walker black gift set etc.

It's not easy to do secret Santa gift exchanges when gift cards/certificates can't be used. It does make you think outside the box though!

I agree with the person who suggested to do a 'guys gift basket'. It could be car related, or guys grooming items. Books are great gifts for secret Santa gift exchanges! I did a secret Santa gift exchange years ago at work and the person who I got I knew nothing about. I bought him a Stuart McLean book and he absolutely loved it. He said that's one of his favorites, and he had wanted the book -- who knew!

Lots of stores have small gadgets/gifts under different dollar amounts. Canadian Tire/Winners/Eddie Bauer/Lee Valley.

Sounds like you might need to do some searching as to things he likes/does. Remember though, just because the limit is $50 doesn't mean you need to spend every last cent of it.

That's exactly it -- get something you like but get a gift receipt (but before you make the purchase ask what the gift receipt policy is)!

I've seen kits at the grocery store for making Ceasers... everything but the vodka was in it.... I thought it was an awesome gift idea!
It had: Clamato juice, hot sauce, tobasco sauce, glass rim spices, 2 glasses all in an ice bucket. It was a 'party in a box'!!! LOL!

I would definitely remember a gift like that and would treasure it always.
I think this is a really good idea (especially the Ferrari... It sounds like a co-worker secret-santa thing. All the other male co-workers would be super jealous. Other ideas might include Shooting Range, Indoor/Outdoor Rock-climbing, maybe just good ol' bowing or pool, introductory Scuba diving lesson..? One free fitness pass to a gym.

Or a car wash/cleaning thing. I know lots of men who really need it!

I heard on the radio this morning that the Heart and Stoke foundation have a Calendar for sale for $25.00. When you purchase a calendar, every day the Heart and Stroke foundation give away $5,000 every day for the whole year!!! There are also weekly prizes of $10,000 (I believe) and monthly prizes as well!

OLG has a 3 month lotto 649 subscription for $52.00 (for 26 draws).

Don't know if that helps at all.

I would like to know if the original poster settled on a gift (we don't need to know what it was, in case recipient is a guest here!), just so we know that our ideas helped her with the gift situation.

I don't know if it helped the poster - but this post helped me. I got one of these calendars for my brother for Christmas.

Make him a gift basket containing beer and other small gifts. Go to a liquor store that sells individual beers. Buy ones you have never heard of or that are not common such as imports. Maybe add some old spice body washes that you can get for free with coupons and some snacks such as pretzels, popcorn and or nuts. I have done baskets like this and have been told it was the best gift they have recieved.

    Hi AndieH,

I'm glad the gift suggestion helped you! I think I'm going to buy a few of the calendars for a few people on my list.
