I successfully PM'd 2 items, and stacked on top of it at the Abbott and Hastings, but I only go when Connie is working, cause the other girl is not very nice.

I have gone to the West Edmonton Mall location twice and both times it was excellent. No problems at all. SUPER good customer service and a very friendly cashier. Really, it was exceptional. She thanked me for coming to London Drugs to use the coupons and that they appreciate the business. That has never happened to me. It is alot more work for them and yet she was the best!!! I really could not believe it. They price match no problem (4 item limit on each thing you price match). I just have to give credit expecially to this cashier. She did my transactions both times and is super friendly.

Well I was at London Drugs today (Manitoba) I was just in line to get change for a cart when the lady ahead of me asked about coupons and changes to them. The cashier said that if a coupon states only one per purchase then that is all you can use per item. The cashier said even though most coupons stated this before that LD will no longer stack them. So the lady says I guess that pretty much means the end of stacking. The cashier said no, only if the coupons don't have a limiting statement on them you can stack....
So pretty much the end of stacking. The most serious gardening I do would seem very strange to an onlooker, for it involves hours of walking round in circles, apparently doing nothing." --Helen Dillon

again, it's up to interpretation........like all the other fine points in the 'official' LD coupon guidelines................all the staff at my local store do things just slightly different from each other .....................I know who is awesome to go to, who is good to go to, and who will allow the 'bare minimum' ie. will only adjust coupons by one penny, will reject coupons on a whim, etc...

Even if they allow you to use the coupons, you're ripping the store off. LD can't be reimbursed for those coupons because they did not buy the product from the manufacturer. If they try to get reimbursed for the coupons that say the small size, but they only get the big size from the manufacturer, the manufacturer won't give them the money.
Sometimes they'll let us use coupons for the wrong product, like pampers diaper coupons for easy ups, but they will still get reimbursed because they buy pampers diapers from the manufacturer.

When the post was up for an extreme couponer to be interviewed why did London Drugs say you couldn't use their name in the interview --- why is because coupon stacking is not supposed to be allowed all coupons that I read say clearly not to be combined with any other offer. I take that to mean only one coupon per item. period. they bend the rules. Lucky for those who live near a London Drugs and are able to do stacking. But it may come to an end eventually. Then London Drugs will have to adjust their extremely high prices or items will sit on their shelves a long time. Just my opinion.

And I wouldn't worry too much about "no stacking" being put on the coupons. They already say limit 1 coupon per item, which basically means no stacking, and LD ignores that. THe latest P&G coupons have said limit 4 like coupons, and LD ignores that as well. As long as the total products sold meets the number of coupons received, I think they'll continue stacking.

For myself if LD stops stacking, which I have recently discovered how to do, I will go back to shopping at SDM and looking for value and ways to add to my points.
I normally average many $ 100.00's dollars free shopping using my SDM points at the $200 bonus value, a few times in a given year. My points are dropping as I stock up thing by stacking at LD......
Every purchase I stack cpns for at LD also means that I usually end up adding to my cart other items that would be purchased elsewhere. LD is the winner in that regard.
Personally if the LD I was shopping at says you cannot stack, or you are limited to only 1 internet coupon, per visit, I will have to advise them that my money will have to go elsewhere if I cannot get the best deal in their store. It in a lose /lose situation for LD Stores and customers, so I think they will tread very carefully to not upset the apple cart.
Not all of us only shop to get free items and not buy other items as well.

I really hope the lady talked to the manager and got this all worked out...
I've had many cashiers say things very similar...
There is one particular woman who works at the kelowna LD I shop at, who always comes up with a sad story about the "end" of stacking... Now, when I go there, if she is their, I will just tell her I need to speak with the manager ( or Karen) before we even start shopping...

I am NOT ripping the store off. In that case, the person who is in charge of these things at the store should have said no, if I truly were not allowed. I asked one of the supervisors, who in turn asked the manager. If the manager said yes, then they obviously know something we don't. Why would the manager say "Yep, go ahead and use it on this product anyway, even though the store will lose out"? They wouldn't.
I love my LD and I will never rip them off or try and be sneaky. I ask first for everything I'm unsure about, and if I'm told yes I can do something by somebody in charge, then why can't I do it? In that case, the coupons that specified the size were multi-use coupons (valid on multiple different products) which is why I suspect the manager allowed it, because it's the same thing as the stacking, as long as sufficient stock for the coupons were purchased, they get reimbursed. For all that it matters, I could have used that coupon on a secret deodorant or a venus razor.
It's the "sufficient stock" thing that allows it. If an easy-up is considered a type of diaper, then I'd think that would be perfectly fine to use that coupon on.

By any chance, was she an older woman? With white or gray hair? Because if she was, I have always had problems with her..
If you shop at the "Kelowna" location.... Definitely ask to speak with Karen (supervisor of CS, there is another supervisor who is a woman and she is pretty nice also. The guy not so much.)... Karen is amazing, and really loves that we stack.. I have never had a problem if she comes to CS...

You can add that the Squamish Garibaldi Village location is amazing. They do not get many couponers at all, so when they do, it's kind of a novetly, and fun for all. Management included!! They also have full stock, and are well faced, even on weekends! If anyone is ever on their way to Whistler, or wants to hike the Chief be sure to stop in!
