I didn't want to reply until i saw this post and felt the need to clarify something here.
My OP did not state at all that the people on this site don't do a fantastic job. The critique was about the presentation and usability of the info. There is a difference between saying that the overflow of information makes it difficult to sort through or find the deals that was posted 2 days ago. I found a lot of people rushing to conclusions of ungratefulness on my part and it is really a shame. Forum categories like these are great for users to say what areas of a website they have trouble with and would like to improve.
Now if the request is valid or not, doable or not... THAT of course is debatable :)
For example, on mallvibes (another forum based/blog website) i vaguely said it would be so great to have a calendar with sales. Never expected the mods to read it or even agree. The very same day, a mod posted that it was a good idea and the feature was actually developed, he just had to activate it. Boom, there it was, and it's been used ever since.
So Sally, please don't call me rude. As a user, i was just trying to give my opinion. And if you still believe that is rude or disrespectful, i guess i wont want to voice it anymore then.
PS: i know it's now xmas time but my post was not about the present influx of sales, but something i have been thinking about all summer.
yeah too many deals around....
