Here is one of delicious Lamb recipe:
Ingredients:
Lamb-4 lb
Onion-6 pieces(medium)
Grated Ginger and garlic paste-2 Tbs each
Turmeric powder-1 teaspoon
Red chili powder-2 teaspoon
Yogurt-1 and 1/2 cup
Ground Cinnamon powder-3 teaspoon
Cardamon-6 pieces
Green chili-3 pieces
Milk-1/2 cup
Ground black pepper-1 Tablespoon
Canola or sunflower Oil-1 cup
Salt-3 teaspoon
Cooking steps:
1. Make 3 onion paste and chop finely rest of the onion.
2. Wash and clean lamb pieces and drain water.
3. Take lamb pieces in a bowl. Add yogurt,salt,all paste and powder ingredients except cinnamon,cardamon and black pepper. Mix them well and keep aside for 2 hours.
4. Heat oil in a pan in medium heat.Add chopped onion and fry until light brown. Add cinnamon,cardamon and fry for few seconds.
5.Then add marinated lamb,ground black pepper and cover with a lid and cook until all moisture is evaporated. If lamb is not tender then add 2 cup of water and cook in low heat. When water is evaporated add milk,green chili and cook for few minutes and keep in low heat for 2 minutes.Now lamb is ready to serve.
