My four year old DS needed a new winter jacket. The last couple of jackets came from Kijiji, in a bag with a bunch of other stuff that I paid only $15 for! Fabulous deal.
But this time I left it too long before I realized his stuff from last year was too small. It's cold out now, and his jacket BARELY fits, not enough room to put on a sweater underneath. I put an ad on Kijiji the other day, but no bites. I had to go shopping!
I tried Superstore for their tax-free deal this weekend. But there's NO way I'm paying $50 for a kid's jacket, tax free or no! But some friends pointed me to CP, telling me that folks on here had posted about 40% off outerwear. It was too short notice to try to trade for one of the $25 coupons. So off we went!
We browsed, found a jacket for about $55, and saw a sign that said something about buying $40 in GCs and get a $10 off coupon. I asked about it, asked if I could use it right away, and was told I could.
Bought $40 in GCs, then bought my jacket. Unfortunately (??) it only came to $32.70 after the 40% discount, so I had to go find something else. DS really liked a hat that was there ($12.50, more than I'd normally pay, but I was wanting to get finished). Turns out that was discounted too, only $7.50 for it (and it is a very nice hat). That brought me over the $40 mark. After tax and discount, I only paid $31.71 for both hat and jacket, still have $8.29 left on my GC. More than I normally would have paid, but still a deal I thought on a new winter jacket!
They had 3 in 1 jackets that I was tempted by too, for $65, but was a bit too cheap to splurge - although it would have only been probably $10 more than what I got in the end!

So glad we got ours today! I won't be waiting next time - I'm buying on clearance at the end of the winter! We still don't have boots for this year, and I refuse to pay $40 for boots for a four year old. Last year I got $65 boots for $10 at Sears Clearance after winter was over. Who pays $60 for little kids boots?

Okay, I've called at least 10 stores in various cities - cannot find a 3-in-1 winter coat in a boys size small (5/6).
Has anyone seen one??? REALLY want one. Will pay shipping if I can get someone to do it!!!!
Prefer the orange, the taupe/grey okay, not crazy about the camoue (can't spell it either!!!)
Help!! Anyone!

Savess - ask CP to check around for you....I know that a few years back they offered to contact another store for me, but I either had to pick it up or have it shipped. I declined, just 'cause I wouldn't pay the shipping. As well, have you checked their website? I think they ship to Canada now (think).
Good luck!
