The Parent Link Centre in my town has approached me to do a couponing presentation!
I go to the Drop in Playgroup they run. I usually go on the day they get extra papers and grab extra coupon inserts. I have shared my deals with the facilitator. It's going to happen sometime in January. I'm excited to help some Mom's in my town to save money!
That's awesome! Someone else (or maybe more than one?) posted recently they had done one as well - maybe she'll see your post and you can get some hints from her!
Good for you! I did a class the first of Nov. It is alot of fun :-) I will be looking forward to hearing how it went!

Maneli, and anyone else interested...pm me if you want info about a lady that teaches a coupon class in BC. She is awesome and does an excellent presentation, also keeps a blog for class students about coupons/deals etc.

I heard of the coupon lady teaching coupon classes but I believe she charges for her classes and doesn't permit anyone to speak about what they learned (at least from what I read on her site). It seems a little odd to me, living in a country with freedom of speech. And I wonder if people actually learn anything new than what we learn from this awesome SC site? Just wondering....
I've wondered this myself. I think the main "lesson" in her course is stacking, so if you've already figured that out, is it worth paying for it (I think it's $25/peson)??? Not sure :shrug: but I'm curious :confused:Quote:

The first thing I did was put out some common household items (laundry soap, shampoo, body wash, deoderant, pads etc) and went through a couple of them and asked them the typical shelf price and then to guess what my cost was. I found that it was a good way to get things started and catch everyone's attention right from the start. Have fun!!!!
