They're calling for an extreme supermoon. I'm not seeing it. Looks the same.

Its was more "Impressive" when it was lower in the Horizon.
Much like a Harvest Moon (but much smaller), it is "Magnified" through the Density of the Atmosphere (when low in the Sky).
I could easily see that it was larger-than-normal around 8:30pm.
Perhaps it will be "noticeable" around Moonset as well.

Hi all,
Just got home from Comfortably Numb - Great show. I respect anyone who can do a good job of a couple of Pink Floyd tunes, but these guys did something off every album extremely well, and kept it up for 3 hours. Very impressive! The Opera House is a tiny venue, and the place was packed!
Missed the moon tho, thanks for the pictures!

On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever. A record 128 countries and territories joined the global display of climate action. Iconic buildings and landmarks from Asia Pacific to Europe and Africa to the Americas switched off. People across the world from all walks of life turned off their lights and came together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.
Earth Hour 2011 will take place on Saturday 26 March at 8.30PM (local time). This Earth Hour we want you to go beyond the hour, so after the lights go back on think about what else you can do to make a difference. Together our actions add up.
