The other aspect of these copy-and-paste rants that irks me is that people just plug Canada into a rant that originated in the Excited States. The numbers will be wrong (they usually are years out of date anyway) and the issues will be askew. Example: How much of the oil consumed in Canada originates in the Middle East? Less than 10%. We buy more oil from Kazakhstan and Norway than from Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Our top suppliers are Algeria and the UK.

If I was going to send information to everyone in my email list (which I wouldn't do anyway, because it's annoying), I'd make sure it was accurate first.
