Over the last six months or so its been refreshing to listen the the Q. Hearing Pearl Jam, Nirvana and The Hip.

So it seems that Q can add select samples from Alternative, New Wave, Grunge, Punk music to their playlist. But its another thing if Q107.com began to feature pictures, articles etc on the artists themselves. Picture those Classic Rock Q posters with Hendrix, Lennon, Jagger, Townshend etc, but now with the heads of Cobain, Vedder, Ocasek, and Joan Jett. HA!

double take:
CNN is running a blog with breaking news on the Japan crisis. I read it a couple of times today to stay somewhat informed. The headline right now is: "Japan newspapers may run out of ink".I'm glad they've put everything into perspective.
Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.

Hey time moves on and Rock evolves and Classic Rock will not be judged on who is on the Q poster. We can't forget the foundation on which this house of rock was built on but we need to renovate and update the the house of Rock with various forms of Alternative, Punk etc. By the way even the founders built the foundation upon the work of artist before them.
For me as long as a group maintains the essence of Rock with the strong and talented use of Guitar, Bass, Drums & Vocals I don't care what category label they are branded with.

Just spotted this ad on Kijiji.
1966 Fender Mustang stolen from studio in the East end.
Cash reward for safe return of guitar or information leading to the return of the guitar.
This guitar has lots of sentimental value, as I assembled it myself over the last couple years.
Description.
-1966 Dakota Red
-lots of cheking, chips in paint, buckle rash (worn to the wood) on the back of the body
- Pearloid pickguard is cracked and dull
-body, neck, pickups, pickgaurd all original, wiring, pots switches are not
-blank/generic chrome neckplate (no serial #)
-serial # on end of the neck has "66B" as the last 3 digits
-paint chips on front top edge of guitar
-guitar was in original grey case with orange lining as shown in example pictures.
Thanks for you helpHave A Nice Day...Stewy
