I've heard good things about Panasonic. Any thoughts or feedback?

Also am considering getting one with a built in anwering machine. I have had bell call answer since January of 1993. I figure I have spent around $1700.00 over the years for this feature. I am thinking it's time to stop giving bell canada extra money.

Have you ever done the math for all the features you have on your phone lines?

    Jeepers!
I have a Vtech 5.8ghz cordless that we have had for close to 7 years. No problems at all (we just had to replace the rechargable batteries, but these phones are the main phones that we use). I haven't had a problem with them. I liked them because you can had additional phones to the main unit (I'm sure other cordless phones can do the same thing). I also have a panasonic 2.4ghz that we have add for much longer than the Vtech. It does ok but we do not use it nearly as much as the Vtechs.

I have the Vtech 5.8ghz cordless too. That's the one I had to change to the NiMH batteries.

After reading your reply I just rememdered that whoever applies any undercoating treatment to a vehicle that they are careful not to spray the condenser, the rad, the evaporator and the heater core, otherwise it clogs it up. This is common on GM vehicles because they tend to do a too thorough of a job because of their 10 year or lifetime rust through warranty, if you go for that option (depending on the dealership). I replaced my heater core in my Jimmy three years ago because it leaked. Sunday morning I decided to check the temp output because it was really humping and the highest temp I got was 160 F. Your 195 degree stat is the highest for that car.
thanx for the info 6ffightr9. that might explain why cleaning of the heater core & evap seemed to cure the problem with the caprice. i know that one has been undercoated. with the replacing of the rad last year & the mild winter probably helped with it seeming like the problem was fixed. i'll get the other 2 cleaned out & see if that fixes the problem. thanx again.

thanks for the tips on the cordless phones.

I can't say that I think 1980's music is quite ready to be considered classic, but we've had a generation who were born in the 1980's grow up & I guess that age group could consider it classic.

    Maybe age is relative afterall.

My fav phone was my old panasonic 900mhz (none of this ghz for me). I could be in the neighbours house and still get calls and clear as if I were at home.
My sister recently found a Hamilton supplier of these old relics, brand new and it is fantastic..

This one is very reasonable, keep the string waxed and it should last quite a while.

    Ok not exactly cordless...
