Oh well, I have no car and rarely go anywhere farther than 7km from downtown (by bike) so most of these entrepot stores are out of my reach. But when I look at their advertisements in newspapers, magazines, etc., I am so tempted to try them out some time in the future. If anyone has visited any of them, please give me and other Montrealers your comments, suggestions, etc - much appreciated

    1. Goldtex outlet store - 8875 Salley St., La Salle, 514-365-9699 - Large collection of infant and children's clothing sizes 0-18, including also suit/dress wear for all occasions, cribs and bedding, highchairs, strollers and carseats, monitors and nursery items, etc.

    2. Bebe Depot Plus - 1104 St-Zotique Est, 514-270-8845 - everything for babies

    3. Bo-bebe - 9540 St-Laurent, 514-858-6336 - everything for babies

    4. Premiers pas - 5202 Boul. Decarie - 514-344-0487 - footwear for children of various brands

    5. Bebe Plus - 6235 St-Hubert, 514-271-5200 - furniture, decoration, accessories for babies

    6. Jouets JRC toys - 5589 Royalmount, 514-342-6979 ext26 (jrctoys.com) - toys, books, games, puzzles and etc. of reduced priced against suggested prices

    7. Mega Vente - 6090 Boul. Metropolitain Est, 514-223-0510; 120 St-Joseph, 514-637-1116 - clothing at reduced prices for the whole family

    8. 1 Chabanel West, 514-381-3113 - shoes, coats, bags for women at reduced prices

    9. Montreal Entrepot - 8780 St-Laurent, 514-384-6632 - Parfum and electronic entrepot

    10. Shoes - 4901 Jean Talon West, 514-735-0851 - Boxing day women shoes and sandals specially marked for 10$? others at 50% of already reduced prices

    11. Entrepot of shoes of brandnames - 6600 chemin Cote-des-neiges, 514-708-2141 - 75 known brands of shoes

Maybe someone can add more to the "Should visit" store list in Montreal. TIA

    3. Bo bebe - c'est pas achetable! very expensive place pretending to be a "warehouse type store"

They used to have decent prices then they renovated, expanded and are too pricey for my taste anyhoo.

oh no that's too bad about bo-bebe... i got the best deals there for furniture and stroller for DS 3 years ago...
    - Goldtex is ok... furniture and stroller type stuff they only carry the expensive stuff... but has a great selection in clothing especially for special events such as baptism, weddings... at the back of the store you can find some great deals on liquidation stuff ( out of season or slightly defective).
    - Bebe plus and Bebe depot plus = crazy expensive but really European stuff
    - Jouets JRC great for kids 5 and up... lots of books and bigger kids toys... not so much for toddlers.

    Hope that helps...

Great, thanks so much for your comments. Save me both time and money to avoid some stores and focus on others.
