Similar to the fair values thread we have but since so many people think it is outdated and does not include some stuff now traded

This is not what the going rate is, but what you would expect for each of the following if not $ for $ in coupons (be it stamps, reg coupons for FPCs or FPCs for bundle of reg coupons etc)

again, this is what you expect to trade the following for, not what the going rate is and ignoring crazy auctions

    • $50 'start up coupons' not handpicked by trader
    • $100 'start up coupons' not handpicked by trader

    • $20 hand picked coupons
    • $50 hand picked coupons
    • $100 hand picked coupons

    • $10 worth of HV coupon(s)
    • $10 worth of FPC coupon(s)

    • Stouffer PINs
    • icoke PINs
    • Pampers PINs
    • Aeroplan PINs
    • Lunchmate bucks/codes (whatever they are lol)
    • Other reward codes you think are worth mentioning lol

    • $1 CT Money

    • SDM points (per $ coupons)
    • SDM points (per $ HV/FPC coupons)

    • $5 GC to store

    • $5 GC to Amazon (some people view them as lesser as swagbucks and survey people get them 'free' for their work compared to spending cash)

    • Book of P stamps (will be $6.67 in Jan)

    • whatever else you trade for I may have missed

hopefully we can come up with a more up to date list for people trading so they know what is expected

-I ask for a $5 GC for $50 worth of hand picked cpns, and $10 for $100 worth
-I offer $1 worth of regular cpns, (not HV like from the manufacturer) for each ICoke pin
-I try to trade HV amounts for equal amounts

    • $50 'start up coupons' not handpicked by trader 5 stamps
    • $100 'start up coupons' not handpicked by trader 10 stamps/5$GC

    • $20 hand picked coupons 4 stamps
    • $50 hand picked coupons 10 stamps/$5 GC
    • $100 hand picked coupons 15 stamps/$10 GC minimum
    • I would also appreciate that people who want 100$ in coupons would add add stamps for my postage.

    • $10 worth of HV coupon(s) same/$20-$25 regular coupons
    • $10 worth of FPC coupon(s)same/$20-$25 regular coupons

    • Stouffer PINs $2 mark in coupons, points, etc.
    • icoke PINs

    • SDM points (per $ coupons) 100 (AT THE VERY MINIMUM)
    • SDM points (per $ HV/FPC coupons) 200 (AND NO LESS...BECAUSE...if I were to use a HV coupon at SDM on 20x points day, that is how many points I would get per $ were I to USE the coupon MYSELF.)

    • $5 GC to store$100 start up coupons, 50$ hand picked coupons

    • $5 GC to Amazon (some people view them as lesser as swagbucks and survey people get them 'free' for their work compared to spending cash) I only trade these for SDM points.

Quoting Anne again because I think this is very fair, however it seems there are not many people out there trading at these rates.

I bolded the one sentence because as a newbie I was totally guilty of this - did not realized that the $100 in startup coupons costs extra in postage!!

I think if you want extra stamps for the postage you should mention it in the trade. Most people probably assume you're taking it out of the gift card or stamps you're receiving.

It's not fair to be upset afterward, if you don't bring it up before...

oh no, that's my point thank you, is that I DO mention it, but then they start to TALK IT DOWN..."well, I'll give you an extra stamp." Not when I'm sending you 100$ in coupons for 10 stamps that take me 4 stamps to send you.

I personally think that $50 in handpicked coupons for $5 GC is a little high. It isn't easy to gather that many coupons.

Oh absolutely - I just meant that I didn't even know that a wad of coupons weighed so much as to need extra postage, and no one ever mentioned it to me so I felt bad when I realized what it cost them to send! Now that I know, I can make sure to add the extra stamps/etc if a big envie is coming my way. I thought maybe other newbs might be as oblivious as I was and hoping to give them a heads up!

If a person had to go buy a 5$ GC, or a book of stamps for your 50$ in coupons, then those are what?...that's right, the same value. You wouldn't ask more than 10 stamps for $50 in coupons, so why is it a different story when it comes to a GC? You want someone to send you a 10$ GC then for 50$ in coupons? But you wouldn't dare ask for two books of stamps!

Now let me ask you a question...

If you were to auction off a 5$ GC, what amount in coupons would you be satisfied with? My guess would be no less than 50$ regular coupons, otherwise you'd pull the auction or try again.

We already have one that is a sticky but it doesn't include things like icoke and pampers codes etc - maybe once there are lots of responses, I can take the median and update the first post with what is considered reasonable now?
