Ontario AMBER ALERT cancelled: 13 year old girl found in Durham.

An amber alert has been issued for an abducted 13 year old girl. Posting here as it gets most traffic and we're dealing with a missing kid. Victoria Larable was abducted today in Peterborough, On by unknown abductors. Her details are below and full article HERE.

- She has piercings in her eye, lips, ears and belly button.
- Is 5 foot 8 and about 135 lbs with black hair.
- Was wearing black tights, purple shoes and a black sweater with pink, white and grey circles.

You're welcome anisa. This is the first time I've seen it across the screen on the weather network but I think it's smart. I turned it on to check the temp and along the bottom in read where weather alerts come is the amber alert and it's been there for a while.

abbasgirl I was just coming to update the post as I read that she was found as well. SO happy to hear!

She was apparently found in Durham region just after 9pm and those are the only details being released at this time.

I thought she was older too at first. But from what some of the articles were saying, she's had a tough life. She lives in a group home during the week and with her grandmother on weekends.
Some of the comments that went with the articles were disgusting - just a screwed up runaway, not worth the trouble of issuing an amber alert - and all that from reading a few lines and looking at her picture!
Anyway...I'm glad the police took it seriously and she's home safe.

Yes, she is an interesting person.
It is unfortunate that she used the Amber Alert system with false pretenses.
