Thread: Pyrex - Free Pot Holder
-
Mon, Feb 7th, 2011, 05:52 AM #1Expired
Complete the form at the link below to receive your free Pot Holder from Pyrex:
Although this giveaway is open to Canadians (see Terms and Conditions below), their form is not Canadian-friendly. I had to enter my city, province and postal code in the 'City' field. For the 'State/Province/Territory' field, there were only US States displayed in their drop-down list, so I had to choose Ohio (instead of Ontario). For the 'Zip/Postal Code' field, I entered 00000 (zeroes)

I was not going to post this because the form is not right for Canadian but then I read that someone has received one before. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

I emailed them yesterday to ask how Canadians should fill out the form to ensure they will receive the offer. I haven't heard back yet but i will post if/when i do.

I think they're all out. When I submitted the form, it just said 'SORRY' and offered a video tutorial to watch.

I tried yesterday and today with no luck. I hope they will extend the offer still to Canadians since it did say Canada was included. The glitch isn't a fault of ours and I don't think we should loose out because of it. Curious too how Concrete got around the Province glitch.

I fooled the form when it first came out. Figured what the heck, if it doesnt come it doesnt come. It said it was good for Canada and US so its their fault, not ours.

When I couldn't get the form to work I emailed them.
Got the following reply back today .....
"We understand the frustration you may feel because you were unable to enter your information. The best we can do, as we no longer have the potholders, is offer a 9x13 inch dish from our Pyrex line. If you are interested we can ship to the address you provided below."
I think that this is really good of them and proves that sometimes it does pay to complain!
