not through the e-mail you personally got from SDM. After you sign up through the group leader's link you will get an e-mail from SDM telling you to refer other people. That is the e-mail you send to friends or use for your spouse's card.

Last time I bought something on clearance I think it was a cough medicine that aparrently not pointable based on my regular points, I had to returned the products and repurchased and bought some more just to make sure.

Just a heads up! I think we should make sure that whatever we are buying are pointable products.

Here's an idea. When you present yourself and your purchases to the cashier, tell them at the beginning that your are doing the "Tell a Friend" event and you want to make sure that everything is all right with what you are buying and the coupons, cards, certificates and totals etc etc. There may be a few cashiers that don't know what you're talking about but I'm sure there will be a lot of cashiers that will know and will help make sure it works for you.

I find a lot of cashiers don't know the event is going on! Last time I had one that didn't even know what tell a friend is.

Just make sure you got all the regular points for your puchase!!!
If you didn't get all the regular points you need to shop again!
